We've brought our floating home to the capital city of Amsterdam where we explore the UNESCO world heritage site, get acquainted with the bicycle culture before taking our personal canal boat through the famous Amsterdam Canals. We then fix our transducer before exiting the sea lock into the North Sea to continue sailing onto our next destination.

Appreciated the tour - smart move on the dinghy. Take out for me was how clean the place was, don't recall even one piece of 'street art' (graffiti). Looks like the preferred mode of transport is the good ol' dependable bicycle. Flat ground so makes sense. Enjoyed.

Happy new year! In Toronto we had 60 amps of dock power to run our 110v heaters so things are a bit different on this side of the pond. We’ll be showing that in another episode to come ☺️

take transducer out, stuff towel in hole. nothing to worry about. when i did it, about a pint came in. dump some warm water in ur suit, down ur neck. keeps u from shock of cold water.

Awesome place despite those dang bicycles. Looks like the dinghy in the canal is the way to see the sights of Amsterdam. From the Red Light District to the shops and buildings, that's the way I would want to take it all in.

Wow you guys that canal ride was super cool! must have been something else to be able to do that on your own, much like everything you've done hahah, such a cool way to see the city!!! Seems Trav needs a heavier wet suit LOL poor guy at least there aren't any sharks to bother you there..... I felt that cold when he got in that water yikes 😆

2 strokes use an oil/gas mixture that pollutes the water, 4 strokes don’t. Allot of lakes in the us have banned 2 strokes

I can see the bigger 2strokes having a problem but small ones on a dingy should be ok I would think. This crazy but I guess some places are banning them but a 5 or 10 hp 2stroke is not as bad as some people think. I use a 15 hp 4stroke but I know a lot of people that still use a 2stroke there cheep and easy to fix if you have a problem.

In the Caribbean we saw tons of cruisers with the small two strokes! When we saw the size and weight difference for the same HP, we were tempted!

This all came about over Jet Skis, I don’t think anyone even considered dingy motors…. now it’s 2 strokes are bad so ban everything I guess
