I just saw that the young daughter and wife died in a tragic auto accident. This was one of my favorite videos. Taryn and mom were both highly talented and this is a waste of great folks. I hope John is getting on with his life. I assume he’ll never forget and their birthdays and the dates they passed away will be heart breaking for him. My prayers are with my friend

He is a soldier. A person of honor, courage, and integrity. My father was in the Army, my uncles were in the Navy and Air Force. These people who defend their country have qualities you will never understand. I suppose calling people you know nothing about horrible names is your way of making a stand. I think you could find more constructive ways to change the world if you really wanted to. Good luck to you sir.

What a fate, this living business is so fragile, we never know if we get out of bed for the last time. The daughter looked so much like her father, her eyes. If i could turn the clock back and had one request allowed to make, i would request this father to have back alive his wife and child, no tragic has happened to me to warrant a request of a return of a dead person, so mines available for him. :) If this could be, if only.

You know I may not agree with the US Govt's policies but my hats off to these brave men and patriots for carrying out their duty. :)

I was 6, in K, from PA but living in Plano, TX with my aunt and uncle and two older cousins (2nd and 4th grade), when both of my parents, yes both of them, were waiting at the house for me. Instead of going to the sitters we walked home (directly across from the school), and all of a sudden my 4th grade cousin took off running, instinctively i chased after, not realizing my parents were there until she was already in my mom's arms. I was the only kid in Texas with both parents in the war.

He's in the Navy. The rank on his chest is of a chief petty officer. The senior chief petty officer has the same symbol on his chest for the BDU's. It's just the way it is in the Navy. But the title on the tv said senior chief. That's just short for senior chief petty officer. His position is comparable to a Master Sergeant in the Army. Weird that the Big Red One symbol is on his right arm for sure.
