This is sailor moon, not dragon ball z lol. The battles are more symbolic are artful instead of brute strength…

I prefer this too over the newer ones. Unfortunately toei cannot draw this artstyle consistently. I can see flaws even just from this short vid. As much as i prefer this artstyle over season 3 and 4, i would prefer season 4 consistency in drawings and animations.

Oh, please....at least the newer style feels actually more expressive and not a bunch of robotic pasta.

@@keetard i agree. I really love season 1 artstyle, but I don't know what's gotten into the artists they seem to can't draw them correctly most of the time.

​@@mrskye08they didnt have time, the show aired bi-weekly for that reason (not the sole reason but time always plays a role in animation quality)

nah old version only full of filler unnecessary episodes.. pretty lack of storyline, I love the humour senses in it but it's just for lengthen the seasons. crystal, eternal, n cosmos foretold true original plot of sailor moon very good I didn't say that 90s version is bad, I grew up with it and it pretty successfully making sailor moon as one of most popular legendary anime but the old one altered plot while crystal offered the true story which is originally the story more heavy and has darker plot

I enjoyed the 90s version, but Crystal is superior, I think you are looking through it nostalgic eyes.

Maurício Moura Yes it does. It plays out a little differently, but they fight essentially the exact same battle in a very similar way. This one matches the manga perfectly, but the 90’s anime wasn’t that far off on this scene.

Crystal is better when it come to story and Battle. Period.
