having been to japan a few times my experience is that prices on foreign goods are generally higher in japan compared to the US, particularly with luxury fashion brands. this goes the other way around too though; bape is much cheaper in japan than it is in the US.

i don't know what the suede ones are like, but this canvas pair fits very large. goinh down a full size may be worth a shot, but i'd make sure you can return if it doesn't work out for you.
