What a shame you missed so much of the architecture and beauty of this building! You even ignored the statues at the entrance - you just walked straight by!!! You also missed the statue of Sir John Betjeman, the poet, who led the campaign to save the station.

I like your name, it's very ironic... I looked for this place about two years ago. I had the feeling that I was in London, in a dream. I remember the clock tower and the arches inside. I was talking to someone, we sat down or stopped for a moment, inside, I feel like there were booths or benches set up, for people to wait and sit, and there were pictures on the brick wall. I remember that it was open air, like a grotto, but inside. In my dream I looked up and saw the tower part of it standing by itself, dark and foreboding, it was like a sign, a symbol, so I started looking for clock towers besides big ben, I think I was just looking at things from an angle, I don't know... but I have never been to England. I've been to Switzerland, Germany, Holland, and Italy, but not England. I do not know how I saw what I saw, in that dream, but I'm pretty sure this is it. It was one of those dreams that stand out, more lucid than most. I finally found this place after playing a video game, assassins' creed, I had long since stopped looking. There's no message to the dream, it's just interesting to me, I'm so very convinced that I was there, mentally.

Not gonna lie, I loved St P wheel it was dark & grimy especially when they had the turbos in making it look even bigger (strangely they put on these short regional trains for a while). But now, walking in off Euston road into the undercroft towards the Thameslink looking up at the magnificent roof is delightful.

That clock tower contains a private house.

Its one of my favorite train stations however there is hardly any security . I did not see one police officer only customs and immigration agents at the international check points.

Can you do a walking tour of the Renaissance St. Pancras Hotel? it's stunning and a part of the train station. it's lobby used to be the cab arrival to the train station. The restaurant used to be the booking station and it was bombed in WWII
