Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a picturesque medieval village located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in southeastern France. It is known for its artistic heritage, stunning views, and well-preserved historic architecture, it is one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera and I’m totally in love with it.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence became a haven for artists in the 20th century. Notable artists such as Henri Matisse, and Pablo Picasso frequented the village. The village is filled with art galleries, studios, and museums showcasing contemporary and classic works.
Saint Paul de Vence elevated position offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the Mediterranean Sea. One of the bes things to do is to stroll through the narrow, cobblestone streets lined with historic buildings, fountains, and flower-covered houses.
Solo travelling in South of France is one of my favourite things to do and I believe that Saint Oail de Vence is the most beautiful place in South of France.
A day trip from Cannes or Nice is perfect and your trip to South of France will be complete.
