I am 50 years old and was around when this music and this imagery was current. It's a delight to see the younger generation making new art out of what once was. Vaporwave as a whole does not capture my interest but bits of it does. Long live underground art!

Burned a mixtape of “the Hits” back in the mid 2010s Private Cellar, Cherry Pepsi, Closer to you, Beach Walk, Enjoy Yourself, Mac Tonight, Sunday School, Macintosh Plus 420 etc. even though i can’t always make out the lyrics- i feel them by heart those tracks got me through some pretty lonely late night drives home after getting totally zooted at a friends place or a late night gaming session, got me through High School my first couple jobs and now- It’s 5am and I feel like I’m not the same dumb kid, i mean in some ways i still am a dumb adult but I’ve changed, for the better? one thing I like about vaporwave is it isn't mainstream (trash) and it isn't a crowd idolizing one person. Hell, most of us don't even know what 99% of these vaporwave artist even look like. The thing is with Vaporwave, every popular song within the Genre does have potential to Hit the Top of the Charts. Macross 82-99, Yung Bae and Saint Pepsi have the Potential to become mainstream, not in a Bad Way. It's possible for them to expand the Counterculture to make the Post-Millennials have a sense of belonging. In this Millennial Era, with Politics everywhere, we just want to avoid it but we can't. And Vaporwave is where I would go to avoid CNN and MSNBC related bullcrap. Vaporwave can lead this generation.

With today being the phone and web fad, any form of entertainment is dinosaur status :/ However, those non inline skates like those are pretty expensive, let alone could scar you for life if you land the olympic figure spin wrong(usually caused wheel bite since most roller skates wheels are stiff and meant to cruise and not dance) or just keep falling backwards from learning how to balance.
