It's 2024 and its nearing a decade since this song and many others like it were released, and man do I feel nostalgic for it. The era of vaporwave is essentially gone but it will always have a special place in my heart. I'll always yearn for those late nights when I was a young man staring at the stars listening to saint pepsi, HOME and many others, contemplating where I'm going and what I want to do with my life. They always seem to bring me back to that nostalgic place :)

Vaporwave is no longer just a genre. It's a culture, and it grows every day.

no genre of music has ever made me just completely imagine myself in a different place. when I listen to stuff like this, I feel so relaxed, I feel like I'm not a depressed piece of shit and the reality that this music creates for me is one I never want to leave ever. its to the point where i'm not even hearing the music, I'm just so lost in a world of neon color and nostalgia and its the most soothing feeling in the world. as I listen to this, I actually feel like I matter in this little world I've created. everything within this world is so beautiful and it hurts when the song ends because i have to leave that world for this one full of ugliness and melancholy. Vaporwave is my escape and I absolutely need it.

It's weird when you start to get nostalgic for the period of time that you discovered the music that made you feel nostalgic about a different period of time. Meta nostalgia.

How the hell has it been 10 years already since this was uploaded?!? It feels like it was only 2 to 4 years ago, been playing this song since Artzie uploaded it and cant remember how many times i have played it.

This song is a decade old and so are the memories it unlocks Life comes at you fast. Appreciate the pleasure and pain you have in the moment. You, the people, and stuff around you will change for better or worse - mostly a mix of both.

I'm not the type of person that'd easily get an existential crisis over something, but this makes me wish the world was drawn in an 80's anime artstyle.

The fact that it was loaded 10 years ago makes it even more nostalgic.

I never thought of vaporwave being so weird but, I bought some headphones and then I realized I was missing like 50% of the song. Currently my body is shaking and my head is just spinning.

every time i listen to this song, i think of NYC, mostly because i was listening to a lot on my trip in new york. imagine walking through the cities, getting a look at the lights, the feelings, the characters, the buildings, everything. imagine being at the glowing, buzzing time square at night, and you hear this song in your ears. man, i'd kinda like to relive that moment.

discovered this song about 7 years ago in my departure into vaporwave. been maybe 2 years since i last sat and had another listen. nostalgia ages like a fine wine.

where's the future that we were promised?

Listening to this is a rollercoaster of emotions for me now. I was 15 at the time when I found this song, just a freshman in high school. I would always listen to this one my way to class after walking my high school sweetheart at the time to her class. I was always so conflicted with my emotions at the time. Emotionally I was a wreck. I remember wanting to just jump into this image so badly, just escape to the beach that everyone in this picture is at. Now here I am, 20 years old. In a relationship (with a different girl now) that I feel is no good. And as I look at this picture again, years later, I still wish I could jump into this picture and enjoy the day at the beach with everyone else in it. I suppose it takes a while for some things to change. The first 30 seconds of this song will always hold a special place in my heart.

In the past and forever in the future this song has and will always make the hair on my arms stand up and feel either happiness, nostalgia, or the strange realization that i'm not alone in whatever i'm going through at that given time.

This was the first vaporwave track I ever discovered way back when I first discovered the genre, shortly after this video came out. I had just broken up with my GF at the time due to her cheating so I dumped her butt. This song helped me deal with the loss and afterwards I became addicted to the genre. I have over 2,000 vaporwave tunes downloaded on my phone because of this song. Thank you Saint Pepsi for one of the most beautifully healing songs I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. Truly transports you to another realm.

This song takes me back to simpler times, but it also takes me here to the present. Because I know the time I spend here and the moments I make now, will reflect with me just as much tomorrow. There's nothing like the present people!!! Make that tomorrow as great if not greater than yesterday!
