Star wars is such a flexible franchize, were it can be literally ANY type of game. Companies just don't seem to understand this.

To be fair, the ak is on a country’s flag it’s so iconic so it’s easier for Normies to see. I never had a problem with it, I mean they made Star Wars blasters out of lugers , m4’s and other famous service weapons, don’t think the ak should be excluded

My only gripe with the AK-47 blaster from Andor is I think it could've been done better. I do recall finding a fan made design around 12 or 13 years ago I thought was better looking in comparison.

I'm actually SHOCKED with how many utilities, weapons and skills that star wars universe has and yet there's no obvious opponent to Rainbow Six Siege. Most of them have lore explanation even with help of force which typical "realistic" tactical shooter can't allow.

Hate to be that guy, but Dengar uses the DLT-19 heavy blaster. The image you showed is of him holding one as well. The DLT-19 was built off of an MG-34 so the barrel has a cylindrical geometry where the Valken-38X is an FG-42 with the barrel of an MG-42 (this is distinctly different because the barrel is more rectangular in nature). Personally I would have preferred the DLT-19 replace the M249, as it fits the light machine gun role better.

I used to run a Star Wars server on CS Source, it just replaced the models of the T-s to Stormtroopers and CT-s to rebels and was running some Starwars map with vehicles. It lasted about a week.

Disruptor rifles as an awp analog is a hot take, ngl The whole disintegration war-crimey aspect makes it less likely to actually be deployed lore wise due to pesky things like morals and availability On the other hand, the custom animation of dusting an opponent would be fun as hell if you're the one using it, and worrying to be on the other side of, because you might not even see the bodies of your fallen comrades to signify "hey, someone's going full thanos on your team over here"

My two cents on the matter are that if DICE had made proper Battlefront games with some of the following things in mind alongside their gorgeous graphics, our collective SW itch would have been taken care of but alas... - Galactic conquest progression - Seamless space to ground and vice versa transition - Class based gameplay like in the classic BF and older Battlefield games - Variety of maps, some of which to be infantry only like CS or the BF3 Close Quarters ex.pack, others with an emphasis on large scale vehicle battles and the rest a combination of the two (also done before in old Battlefield tittles) - Objectcive based gameplay just like in both Enemy Territory tittles (Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Quake Wars) - Minor weapon and gadget customisation without breaking the lore - Lore accurate apperance customisation (no helmetless stormtroopers) - Force abalities, heroes/vilians and light saber wielders only be playble on specific arena type maps against each other and NOT versus regular soldiers (Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy) - Galactic civil war and clone wars scenarios (NO sequel garbage content) "But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet. Tread softly because you tread on my dreams."

The thing about the "suppressed dc-17" is that it looks integrally suppressed. I think it'd be a cool idea to have a suppressed as well as non-surppressed version that you just swap between whenever you wanna switch

Notably about the trandoshan scattergun- It's explicitly stated in RC to not be a slugthrower. When Boss picks it up, he thinks it is, before realizing it's a blaster designed to resemble one and makes a comment about lizards having nostalgia.

I honestly love this idea. I grew up with Star Wars. The games, Action figures, Lego Star Wars, and of course occasionally playing squad Star Wars or arms 3 Star Wars. It is the best idea to see if 3rd developers could make this game since this would get a lot of people playing it

The Golan Arms CR-1 would make a good shotgun available to both sides. It was indeed used by both the Empire and Rebel Alliance.

Just a fun note: the A-280 blasters have two different variants, the regular A-280 and the A-280C, both commonly used by rebels but the regular A-280 is LITERALLY an AR-15 made blaster, while the A-280C is an STG-44.

This is a great idea. I do have my own opinions about a couple guns though. Plus, since the gas tube doesnt actually have to push back the bolt like it does on a real AK, you could say the inverted gas tube actually takes any overpressure/excess tibana gas and puts it back into the magazine making your ammo for it last a little longer. - For the stock, you could even keep a normal AK stock or come up with something that looks a little more Star Wars fitting. TL:DR Make the AWP Din Djarin's disruptor rifle, and make a few changes to the K-47.

I've had a similar idea for a tactical hero shooter like VALORANT but with bounty hunters or mandalorians as the hero characters! Would love to see a competitive fast TTK tactical shooter set in SW one day...

This is my dream game, hopefully one day someone gets to make this, I started playing Battlefront 2 because I wanted this kind of stuff, wasn't disappointed because it's a great game by itself but I would absolutely love for this to become a reality eventually, I mean whoever does it will make a LOT of money so hopefully some company manages to realize soon.

Sounds like sick game, AAA gaming companies need to understand that is is this easy to make good Star Wars games. I also want a band of brothers style clone wars game where you play as a clone. Maybe through the campaign you watch your Jedi general die and their padawan take over. See the clone wars through a boots on the ground approach.

Really cool vid. One problem though: the name. There's already a (very kick-ass) Star Trek FPS called "Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force", with a sequel simply called "Star Trek: Elite Force II". It runs on the Quake 3 engine so it's an arena shooter, not a tactical one, but the similarity is there. I actually recommend any FPS fan play it regardless if you're into Star Trek because it's a really cool game.

Change I would make for the rifles is the M4A4 and M4A1. There is literally a gun in Battlefront II called the A280-CFE that uses an AR-15 Lower and Upper receiver. Make two variants of that as the replacements. Way better equivalent to the guns in CSGO. The regular A280 you included to replace the sg-553 is the gun based off the STG-44. The one I’m talking about is the one based off the AR-15. Check it out.

As a star wars nerd I will say i do have a slightly differnet approach when it comes to the weapons Personally id probably replace the RT-97 with the DLT-19, i think its more iconic For the imperial side when it comes to blasters id probably have the DC-15C be the famas replacment and then have the death troopers E11D act as the silenced option Other than that the weapons are solid Also a fun mechanic So blasters rely on power packs and tibana gas, what could be fun is every like 3 or 5 magazines you have to replace the tibana gas cartridge, if your a good enough shot you can shoot said cartridge in order to blow up the user and kill them and people in a small radius

for the disruptor as being official cannon and used (and very cool blast) the T-7 ion disruptor rifle, it could have the only sniper capability of obliterating the shield and overpenetrating like the awp

[This is a repost of a reply in one of local comment threads, on the idea of Star Wars "lore-effective on all" analoges of existing Counter Strike grenades.] We could just add new alternative versions to existing grenades: flash would be throwable sensor scrambler, which would affect both droids and Trooper helmet visors, with a byproduct of a short intense light flash that affects normal organics eyes; literally copy-paste Electric Smoke from Titanfall, but grenade and lighting is weak enough to only block visors/photo-sensors; fire grenades could be replaced by Star Wars version of thermite, but with *relativly* short duration. Boom, done! And if lore questions arise, just tell that those grenades are hard and long to produce, hence when aquiring them, they get reserved to certain Special Forces, usually the ones with bigger influence and favor (it's true for ALL big enough factions in Star Wars).

Since this is just fantasizing about what would be cool - I think it might be neat to have droid operatives that are more spongy/have high armor but can be more seriously impaired/disabled by ion rounds, so you have another ammo type to consider on the load out and a reason to swap based on the team composition

The only gun I wish was on here was the E-11D that the Death Troopers in Rogue One use. I freaking love the Death Troopers and also love their guns and love playing as them in the newer Battlefront 2. But the rifles and SMGs were getting kinda cluttered so I understand it going by the wayside. I do love the inclusion of the DT-29 (Krennic's gun). I actually just got his TVC figure recently and it just made me appreciate the design of that gun even more. I just wish Krennic was playable in the newer Battlefront 2 and stuck in Battlefront (2015). Oh well.🤷

Many think Empire and Alliance have different weapons, but that's not the case, both sides use the same weaponry, Empire uses Han Solo's blaster pistol(can be seen on imperial officers in SW 1977) and even Rebels' rifles(can be seen in the background of Death Star II in ROTJ 1983).

What's confusing to me is that those Storm Commandos appear in the X-Wing novels, except there they are called Storm*trooper* Commandos and don't wear black scout armour but regular Stormtrooper armour in slate grey.... Personally I wouldn't have gone with so many clone wars era weapons when the factions are Rebels vs Imps, but it's a cool concept!
