Jamaal Williams is 6'0" 224. Deuce was 6'1" 232 (not much difference) PT Cruiser was 5' 11" 210, and I'm not sure he was actually 5' 11". So size wise, there is no big difference. Talent and production wise? yes.

The Saints have to pay AK 41. He is under age 30, leads the Saints in TDs, 2 time All Pro, an a dynamic running back. The last 2 years Carmichael didn't use his dynamics and AK had an injury and a bar fight. Love D. Holker and M. Bradford I think they both will make the team.

Would love to see AK41 stay, but it's a business. There's only so much money, especially on the Saint's cap where they have been in win now mode for 4 years. You can only kick the can down the road for so long. It's basic math. AK is also age wise, at the end of the typical RB productivity curve. He's a great player and his dip in productivity the last 3 years isn't his fault IMO. It's more of a system thing. But either we can afford him or we can't. It is what it is. If he leaves the Saints it won't be because he wasn't valued or wanted, it will be simple math.

Kamara IMO handled this all wrong. I'm sick of these players doing crap like this but what I believe was so disrespectful was just walking away from practice without telling anyone anything. Why come to mini camp if your attentions where different. Kamara is under contract Saints have backed him through his career but to do this was a shame. Saints could have traded or cut him after the Vegas Fiasco but didn't it just seems loyalty doesn't go both ways. Go earn your new deal this sucks and now Saints are again scrambling to find a way to give more money for another player probably headed on backend of career. Kicking the can again and Saints gonna get wrong side of this.

He's a older RB and they already get under payed compared to every other position. This would be his last contract. Also he would thrive in this offense. So he's using all the leverage he has. Hopefully the Saints and Kamara and resolve this before training camp. 🙏

@trenelson9212 yes older & RB this isn't good for him. He can't get paid what the younger players are getting especially when his production wasn't close to those guy were doing. Mccaffery is close to his age but he has almost 1500 yards rushing & 14 tds. He had 500 plus yards receiving & 5-6 tds Kamara isn't getting that money.

So if he doesn't produce then Saints are stuck with another player playing past there prime with already challenging cap situation. This why this team can't get out their black hole by keep players past there time and paying them heavy.

Mccaffery was an MVP candidate had over 2k in all purpose yards just about 20 TDs running & receiving and carried that team to superbowl. I like Kamara but his production has went down and hasn't did what Mccaffery has done it's just facts.

Apparently DA and/or Derek Carr don't like Kamara. DA cares more about proving he's the boss than he does about winning. Carr cares more about having everyone tell him how great he is and let him blame everyone else and yell at them publicly for his errors. DA has gotten rid of any QB that could challenge Carr. He will be fine that’s why they have all the quick passes to save the o line no waiting to get open plus it helps receivers as well they won’t need to wait for a connection between Carr and olave because this oc is smart enough to do some easy short passes not just bombs at least that’s my opinion
