Hello Mariel! Sorry for the late reply. Comparing my course schedule from my friend studying at SAIT, I would say that BVC offers more flexibility with scheduling because I can squeeze my courses in 2 days while my friend goes to campus for 4 days. I don’t think they can choose their course combination too. Additionally, at BVC we have reading week break every term while at SAIT, they only have reading week every fall. Hope this helps! 😃

Hello Johnny. I am not sure with SAIT but right now, I can see that there are lot of enrolees from the Philippines at Bow Valley College. Thanks for the suggestion. I understand where you’re coming from. I would try to reach out to individuals taking IT program and other programs for that matter. I get how you feel, it’s been 8 years since I graduated college. I would say that your environment plays a huge role with adjustment. I am grateful to be surrounded by people who encourage me to growth and flourish hence I did not find it too difficult to get back to studying. I might have to do content on this! Hope this helps 😁

Hello po! For the tuition actually you don’t need to make a deposit for the tuition. You have to convince yung visa officer tho na you have enough to resources to pay for you tuition fee. I know people na hindi nagbayad ng part ng tuition but they still got approved. It would be all up to the visa officer Regarding the Alberta ID, dito po kukunin yun when arrive. Hope this helps!

Hello Vangre, thank you so much for your comment. I appreciate. Well I am not sure with SAIT tho my friend mentioned na she was taki ng 5 courses for winter and spring, while 2 naman for fall. Although fall is SAIT’s official academic term for business. With the rent, there are properties na nagaallow ng mga pets. I know na pet deposit is bet 200-250 per month although each property has its own policies. Same goes with deposit. Iba yung arrangements with student and non students here. Although unlike sa Philippines, checking account ang iopen here first and optional ang savings. When I opened my account, walang deposit required but I have a GIC kasi. I learned na for non-student for CIBC, you have to have at least 4,000 CAD sa checking account else you’ll get interest. Better check with the bank representative for more information. Natanong ko lang so we can prepare the amount na need na iadvance sa lessor kung required man. Lastly, have you already acquired your apartment before you arrived in canada or naghotel muna kayo before you found your apartment? Natanong ko lang kasi nakakaworry din magbigay ng reservation payment while we are here in the Philippines pa. Thanks again and God bless!

@@vangrelawas4305 usually, security deposit muna to guarantee na you will take the apartment. Yung security deposit fee, depends sa property management. Some are less than yung monthly lease fee and some naman is equivalent sa one month lease fee. We paid yung security deposit before my friend and I arrived in Canada. Then once nandito na sa Canada, you have to pay yung 1st month lease. Hindi na kami naghotel. We found yung apartment namin while we were still in the Philippines. I made a video regarding that actually if you’re interested ☺️

Hello! If my understanding of your question po is right, meron pong tinatawag na official term break ng each program. You can look at your program’s academic calendar since I believe each program is different. At Bow Valley College, business administration program’s official term break is spring and summer, while sa SAIT, according to my friend, is fall. This is irrespective kung fall or winter intake ka

My friend who’s studying at SAIT is nakabuild ng group of Filipino friends na classmates. Sa BVC din, the same. So far, I can say na campus communities are great here. Hello! Each program sa Sait requires different set of requirements. I suggest you go through the admissions requirements sa program na like mo. However, I know na you have to demonstrate ba you have an English language proficiency by providing certificates like IELTS etc. you can check Sait’s website din to be sure. Hope this helps!

Hello, I recommend na magasikaso ka ng documents a month before visa application. Tho I understand na some documents has longer lead time. You have to check yung mga ganun and make sure na dadating yung documents within a month before visa application
