Love how despite Saitama's insane power he's basically an NPC even in a story named entirely about him. Genos starts talking about corruption in the Hero Association and Saitama's reaction is literally 'whoa how do you know about all that' and then just envy that no one asked him to be a neo-hero. Poor guy will forever be the Caped Baldy even in his own franchise. He's just so oblivious and unambitious (just like us fr fr).

Gotta give props to genos for that loyalty, he spent a good while hyping up the neo heroes, and he only needed to hear a "nah, i don't feel like it"to drop it , we all need a genos in our lifes

It honestly is disappointing that Saitama is putting all this effort for other people like Tatsumaki or Fubuki for them to have some sort of resolution to their problems and character issues but then when it come to Genos he has nothing to say really ( not saying he doesn’t care for Genos, his care for him was shown when he fought Garou after he killed Genos)

Everything happened in jus 2 months… think about that. Time moves mad slow in OPM yet can achieve so damn much! We’re officially 3rd way through OPM, time-wise.

2 months has pass and someone says 6 months later the OPM God appearance would happen. Means in about 4 months later, a whole Universe or even existence was in a danger.

The 6 month timer starts during the S1 finale of OPM not when Genos became Saitamas student.

@@commodorezero yea but in OPM timezone, the time stamp between Genos becoming Saitamas disciple(ep5) & the finale should be between a few days or a week or two apart so it should still be in the same month. This is one of the only times where ONE specifically puts down a time stamp so this should indicate that we’re 1/3rd of the way through the series. It makes more sense this way.

@@ben54321 I don't know season 1 time moved much faster in universe then it has since. There were more gaps in S1 where a few days or a week might have passed etc whereas in season 2 onwards it's been more day to day and even hour to hour. But yeah regardless the 6 month timer starts at the finale of S1. Genos is referencing Saitama and Genos joining the hero association. Were less than 2 months into the timer though it's not clear how MUCH less.

Yes, it was mentioned in the briefing in one of the manga chapters- that his son being saved was why he started the hero association.

You know what i've been wondering after saitama went back in time to defeat garou in just one punch and saitama give that old core of dead genos to again living genos, genos saw everything about the fight that saitama and garou had. Why didnt genos just give that core to the professor that gives him parts and all ( i forgot his name sorry) and just plug it into a computer or a big tv screen so that saitama would see it and get his memories about it back

what's the point of that? I thought were going to say to show everyone how powerful Saitama is. at least that would be something Genos would want. Edit: also the core doesn't have eyes, doesn't have ears, doesn't feel their Ki it only has memory up to the point it was ripped out of Genos.

@@crazyengineer470 he didn't necessarily need to see the fight to know the scale of it since the core probable has some sort of pressure sensor and would continue recording that and it probably has other sensors that would imply a large fight took place

Keep in mind, Saitama and Genos have only known each other for 2 months now. This means that they aren't even really friends; just acquaintances. No wonder Saitama doesn't want some guy he literally just met to move in with him

A fair point; it's just too soon for Genos to feel this way, and it takes time to grow closer. However, since Saitama agreed to be his Master, he should at least have some care regarding his growth.

I get that, but genos knows how strong the top hero’s are and he knows how strong saitama is, and because of that he’s his master, he tries to be like him to achieve what he did. It’s a matter of him knowing who the strongest is, and loyalty towards him as a friend I think. I’m glad he stayed personally genos the smartest character in the whole show to me.

So I was thinking he would do something about it. Not just stay where he is. Kinda like Sasuke feeling the need to leave to pass Naruto. If you watched that.

Geno's is limited in his strength due to being a cyborg. The only way for him to get stronger is through upgrades. He should work on skill to improve. Taking Bang up on his offer to train would make Geno's much more effective.

I have a theory: Metal Knight (Dr Bofoi) Is actually that rampaging cyborg thing that genos is hunting and thats why he is so smart and many heroes distrust him.

I think that is the assumption most readers have at the moment. Metal Knight has already shown a complete disregard for human life and only caring about making the most powerful weapons. Like the asteroid event, he didn't care about saving the city. He just saw it as a great opportunity to test out his new warheads.

Mr Agoni sharing a huge chin with that one kid is no coincidence. That kid was his nephew or grandson or whatever. When the kid told Mr Agoni about Saitama saving him from Crablante, Mr Agoni was thankful and inspired, and he created the Hero Association as a result.

there is a chance that the rampaging cybor is Genos himself, maybe Bofoi injected him with some kind of virus that make him goes on a rampage, and while he is on rampage Saitama tries to help him but accidently sent him back in time because of his ability after his fight with Garou.

Genos *_IS_* the Rampaging Cyborg. Because ehe learned from his time-alternate's Core of the true fight that occured... Genos eventually decided the only way to stop the Rampaging Cyborg is to go back in time, like his Master has done, but further, to stop them _before_ everything was taking from his younger self. Upon arrival he realizes he needs to become Genos of his future's past and becomes the Rampaging Cyborg to make himself into the Genos we now see. I have no knowledge about the actual future of the story but this is where all this leads, if you extrapolate outward.
