My man only get into a cabinet if your really hardcore about it. If you want the real deal original you probably spending close to 3 grand . I love the novelty and the nostalgia but honestly you can go online and buy custom cabinets with 3000 plus games for the same price maybe a little less. These things can stream music movies have WiFi connection lol. The only cab I’d buy most likely would be street fighter 2 or Metal Slug 2 it gotta really mean a lot to drop that much cake on it

@@CarbonRollerCaco I don't think it was about "taking it seriously," it just wasn't something widely known since the type of tech that could produce such visuals were very new and being showed off at the time. Epilepsy warnings in any media didn't begin till after the horror story that was Pokemon 2000, where doctors and scientists around the globe were suddenly all dropped the most mysterious non-infection medical case of the century.

Photosensitive epilepsy only first began being researched around the early 80's when graphical engines like these were being first developed and released. Not only that, but photosensitive epilepsy is most commonly found in younger children. Back then and even now, arcades are more of an adult scene in Japan, so it simply wasn't known until much later when Pokemon became popular. I was mistaken early tho. It wasn't Pokemon 2000, it was an episode released in '97 when calls began coming in asking what the hell was happening to their children. Also, you completely failed to take into account America clearly didn't "take it seriously" either since they brought the damn cabs, consoles, and media from overseas without any regulations or warnings until much later. Knowing this game, it probably was what they were going for. The devs had said from the interviews way back when that they took inspiration from damn near everything when fleshing out the designs of the characters; from classic cartoons, manga, non-horror films, mythology, even japanese fashion. That's why everyone in the cast is so unique and are well beyond the scope of being just Monster movie knockoffs.

Not that I mind strives UI, but in this game health and meter carries between "rounds" so it does make more sense for this game than it does strive, where each round is a complete fresh start.

that is the least of Strives' UI issues. VSav also had the archaic concept of the lifebar going down left to right. As universal smart UI design for lifebars is to have it go towards the direction of the timer where the other minor meters closer to the middle are there to keep overall status of the rounds in check.

Guess he’s just tryna fool around and make something happen. That was me playin BB CS yesterday. I got through arcade but that damn Nine was a monster. I don’t go into training unless I fully commit. It’s like when you play so many fighting games you should be able to figure something out qcf qcb two punches two kicks charge up charge down. Nope not with Bullet it took me a while to get any decent combo and strat together

@@malbo- Yeah I just figured it out a little after commenting this. For whatever reason I thought the red portion was your health instead of the green. Which doesn’t make sense at all.

This game is easy for beginners the mechanics are what makes it harder and much special. Game has the magic theory which when you start a weaker attack it can combo into a stronger attack.

Dimitre is just a shoto,so he is a good starter character character

All of the characters are pretty easy to pick up and learn. There’s a lot of freedom in the combat if you just experiment. I used to do this nice 3 or 4 hit combo with Sasquatch I like Jedah Felicia Donavon Hsienko everybody really. They really need to bring this back a new version in time for Halloween

@@sourapple7831 yeah it’s the precursor to MVC with the chain combos you know LMH for most and then you just gotta figure it out with dashes and specials. There’s pursuit attacks for knockdowns a lot of stuff

You can play on PS4 via PS now I believe. You can play it on PS3 the Darkstalkers whatever whatever I bought it some years ago. Other than that idk why downloads from PS3 can’t just carry over. I have some of the same games on PS3 as PS4 both downloaded or one on disk and one downloaded it’s so dumb
