THIS is why you should NEVER force your best Attacker to LB. Saka had 4/4 take ons 2 chances created, most duels won and the goal. He's been Englands best attacker this tournament NO DEBATE, last 2 major's he has the joint most goals (4). England player of the year TWICE yet people STILL wanna doubt Saka and bench him for Palmer who has no credit for England. Hello Mr saka fanboy, I'm actually surprised your so confident talking about how saka is englands best attacking player ..when the reality is england have STUNK out the tournament, saka, foden and kane have all played shockingly bad this euros, none of them deserve more time..england is so lucky they won't face any of the big teams until the final.

@@MoBoudreauxIf you watch without bias you’ll notice that Saka actually performed well the most. He dribbles the most, the best player in transition (if the team is under pressure he’d carry the ball and win a foul) and he consistently cuts the ball back to Harry Kane who’s non existent in the box. He also assisted in the tournament (something that Foden failed to do so far)

Saka is a very very very good player! No lack of effort both offensive and defensive, the ultimate team player, but he needs to develop that killer instinct, the goal he scored , he can do that much more both for club and country.

Naaa did you guys actually look at the average positioning of Harry Kane during the game???? he literally spends most of his time next to Rice and way below Foden and Bellingham, the two 10s who are expected to create chances and through balls, but who are they going to create for when uncle is playing CDM instead of being in the box???! its actually insane. These three cannot play together, they occupy the same spaces. And also on the Foden thing, at City Foden is used to having Rodri who no offense to Rice actually passes the ball forward into the small spaces that he occupies and for him to do those half turns and smash it (which is why I think he keeps dropping deep to get the ball and then progress). On the other hand he also has KDB who they play one touch passes with into those spaces and can find him with his eyes closed. Unfortunately England don't have that which means with the qualities he has, if he doesn't adapt, the bench is waiting for him.

Foden had only 1 better season then Saka but Saka always been better then foden for England and club that’s why Southgate always trust Saka more then foden. VVD is still better than Saliba. Saliba plays for defensive sides like France and Arsenal who pack teams with CB's and DM's. VVD is playing with a new midfield for Netherlands like he did with Liverpool last season and he kept his form. Liverpool last season had loads of injuries in defence and goal keeper but he was still our best player.

Individual stats van Dijk is better on every single metric than saliba btw. Still. This most recent season. No weaknesses from saliba? 34% aerial duel win rate. France defence have been solid - as a whole, not just saliba. Same as arsenal. He was responsible for all 3 of the best chances the opposition teams got against France. Stop trying to push saliba into the conversations of “currently the best”. Hes 22. Let him develop. If he continues on this path, he will likely be up there soon enough but he is not there yet.
