Ok, what pisses me of about this, isn't the fact that villager is part of the villains ok with murder, it's the fact that they put a ton of murderers in the minor villains group. I mean, the only villains who are truly non-killers, are incineraroar and mewtwo, and mewtwo was going to try and destroy humanity before he went through a character arc. And yes, both metaknight and DeDeDe commit murder.

bin Dedede is a friendly asshole, just like wario, but Dedede is more friend than Wario is to Mario. And not to mention how Dedede has been trying to clean up his act ever since Kirby’s Dream Land. Meta Knight has always been a well-meaning vigilante, with Revenge of Meta Knight’s japanese translation saying he wants to “transform the fallen dream land.” Fallen in this context meaning full of corruption. Neither of them are truly villains.

Only because Sakurai forced it into the story. Heck Bayonetta could have survived those lasers, but Sakurai didn't want her to. And I'm pretty sure Kirby's warping to a new dimension wasn't established before.
