No matter what people think Darwin Nunez is an upgrade to Sadio Mane on center forward position. I like Mane, he was my favorite Liverpool player, but sometimes you should see things how it is and having clear number 9 who can change the game with one move is a thing every team at any level of football would want. I like to see how easily he get in scoring chances, his movement is different and he reminds me so much on Manđukic from Bayern under Heynckes when they won all trophies in a single season.

I think he definetly gives a new aspect to the 9 that Bobby and Sadio and Diogo can’t but it’s more down to how good diaz is for why Sadio was let go. As much as Sadio was and still probably is my favorite player in all of footy I think diaz is about as close to Sadio as we were gonna get. Darwin is the thing we’ve needed more than a replacement for Sadio. He really takes us to another level and klopp and the team are gonna enjoy him being around a whole hell of a lot.

@@tofuteh2348 I said it because Sadio is not a center forward and he has never been that. Mate Sadio was my favorite Liverpool player but he is a winger and he plays best at that position, he has never been schooled in young ages to be center forward. Do you see how easily Nunez get in scoring chances, yes he missed some but he knows how to find space and those small empty places where ball should go. By the way he is taller than Sadio and now Andy and Trent have real target for their crosses. Sadio is Liverpool legend and nothing can`t change it, I love him to death but having clear number 9 is an upgrade for this team who makes most goalscoring chances in PL

This game still could’ve been played at Wembley as the women’s final isn’t being played until Sunday evening so they had all day Sunday to get the pitch and stadium ready, using Leicesters ground was unfitting for such a big game involving two fearsome teams, and I bet Leicester was only used because they were the current holders which meant the trophy didn’t have to be escorted from the ground
