That shoutout to Marvel was brilliant in so many levels. The fact that he is soo relaxed in his dance gives Salah the freedom to have that kind of fun and pay his respects to anothe dancer in the spur of the moment, by doing one his famous moves and staying in effortless rhythmn all while having fun. This is Salah's year and I do hope he stays in competition mode for a while. I missed his greatness.

Still watching this one year later. I don't know why but I find myself coming back to this video when I'm feeling happy. Salah is a legend so no need to praise him here. Emjay however, I have not seen before this video but he is damn good. I will always respect salah but I actually enjoyed Emjays performance here slightly more. Maybe it's because half of what Salah did here was already done in the many years of his dancing career and it's just nice to see something brand new. It's refreshing

Goddammit!!! There are good dancers, pro dancers, judges then Salah. He is another fucking level, his creativity is insane and he's literally living the songs. Hope somebody get close to his level someday.

If you let Salah set the pace of the battle, it'll just get tougher as it goes on. Salah is a top tier battler, the man has been through it all. EmJay is really good, would love to see him in more battles. This particular battle was straight fire.

I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of people throwing torches at me right now but I think the winner should've been EmJay. I love Salah as much as the next guy and I'm sure that he is the better dancer among the two in what concerns technique, skill, experience, uniqueness (no doubt here), but he did not win that battle. They just gave it to him because he was the more notorious dancer in that battle. 1st of all: the first song was funky as hell and just made you want to bump your head and groove and EmJay DANCED the hell out of that jam, he had FLAVA and musicality and made me just want to dance and smile like an idiot. Salah wasn't that musical and pretty much did tricks on a funky jam that should've been DANCED. It is a dance battle after all, isn't it? 2nd of all and regarding 2nd song: EmJay obviously knew the song and he had musicality and killed that "fss" sound effect. He owned that song. Salah was more on the floor and didn't really connect with the song as much as EmJay. On the 3rd song Salah won the round but just about. So my opinion is that 2 out of 3 rounds were won by EmJay and he should've won this battle. Last but not least it's refereshing to see somebody have such a nice time like EmJay did and to be so respectful of the guy he's battling. All you see guys doing these days is just showing you the middle finger and be as rude as possible because they mistake that with being cool and Hip Hop. Kudos to both of them. Just sharing my honest opinion. I'm sure I'll be insulted just for not being a fanatic of Salah and just judging based on what I felt. Popping is a funk dance so the flava and the musicality should weigh a lot.

3rd song aka "Clear" is the type of music I like to hear at these battles. It brings out the raw dancer in people like Salah. That's where the roots of the dance are. Electro music. Also, at 6:56 he tried to mimic Salah, but he couldn't do it lmfao. That's how you know he was losing.
