@@hyperlink6547 You can use the effect to bounce you don't need to use it right away. So you revive Stal with princess and then link into rage and Then use Mirage effect is what I think they were explaining to you

@@BunnieHeroSenpai No, i get that. What im saying is that if your revive miragestallio with promethean princess, its no longer considered "Xyz Summoned" just special summoned. The bounce effects says "If this *XYZ Summoned* Card is sent to the graveyard for the link summon of a Salamangreat Link monster; etc..." This means the effect doesnt work if you revive miragestallio with promethean princess. The bounce only works if you link it away while its still considered "Xyz Summoned" which means after its initial summon, you have 1 chance.

@@steezah3063 it's not a level 3 monsters that special summons from hand and it's useful for link summon, synchro summon and xyz summon. It's not a card that allows you to activate from the GY in the opponent turn and it doesn't allows you to do an extra relink in your turn. It allows to relink phoenix in Opponent turn ? Yes. But i prefer rage in that case. Code of soul would revolution Salamangreat in TCG for sure

I’m currently trying to think of a way to use it and burst gryphon, so that you can link away the pyro Phoenix without forcing it to stay on field, thus allowing for something against nib at end of main and leaving a negate+ board wipe in the opponents turn. Still testing atm though.

Since now you can summon a monster on your opponent field using weasel so Special summon pyro phoenix Relink phoenix Use weasel Special summon a pyro in opponent field Effect of Pyro in your field -2800 And Inari effect to deal -2800 And Inari effect plus hita to add the trap Sacrifice Pyro during opponent Draw phase -2800 Gg

@@lukirioh Fully hear ya.! Code is just a stronger card in comparison.! But all I was trying to say was Transcendence has utility. It's a quick-play. It can dodge a targeted effect. It's a salamangreat card by name so it's easy access... I just think it's worth considering. I have a blast with it.

You have to link into a Salamangreat monster.

You're actually wrong here. While that combo does exist, the point of the combo I showed is to explain how Salamangreat can make a Nibiru proof board. There is no correct way here, only a heigher ceiling combo vs a Nib Proof combo. It is up to the player to decide which combo is beneficial at the time.

I'll explain better: Starting with debug+gazelle Debug>em:p>balelynx>summon em:p Make wicckid>gazelle (5th sum)>dump spinny and search weasel If they nibiru here you can summon weasel and make stallio with spinny. If not make princess>summon gazelle>summon spinny>stallio brings jaguar>make phoenix WITH JAGUAR>reborn jaguar>sp If they nib late you have weasel and princess to recover to a 2-interruption endboard

It does but he only summoned fire monster for the combo. In the second combo he didn't use salamangreat of fire.

that's why i'm personally not using any non fire link monsters and running 3 sala of fire instead of lady debug, with code of soul out now, the deck is very strong.

Only when Stalio is Xyz summoned and used as link material for a salamangreat Linkmonster. So sadly, when you revive him with Princess and use him to link into Salamangreat Phoenix, he is no longer "Xyz summoned"

maindeck core is pretty cheap. Extra deck is a bit pricey since raging phoenix is roughly $40 right now and you need at least 2 of them. I'd run knightmare unicorn over S:P little knight if you're on a budget. Promethean princess is surprisingly cheap right now also.

1. You're wrong here. Lady Debug is combo by itself now. you follow a similar line of the Gazelle combo except you resummon Prometheanto link into Rage again. Lady Debug + any extender is also full combo. Unless you want your deck to be less consistent than standard strats, Debug is optimal right now. 2. That's why you play extenders, but saying a card is bad because there are counters is a foolish argument. Stopping Debug has a possibility of ending a weak hands turn, but if the hand was weak, Bufferlo wasn't going to help either. 3. You can't Nib during the "end phase" The combo I showed you is 100% Nib proof REGARDLESS of where you nib. It does the exact same thing. 🤣 I think you're stuck in some older Salamangreat lines of thinking. You gotta get with the times old man.

@@thecalieffect as far as 1 and 3 go, you are right. I’m looking back on it and yeah, the nib at end of main doesn’t matter as you can special weasel from hand, link into balelynx, trigger weasel, trigger Promethean, and if you want a link 4 you can make one it just make a sunlight wolf. You are correct. For 1, I had forgotten about using weasel later in the combo, to trigger the princess even though you had already used the field spell to re-summon. I would’ve liked to see that specific combo in the video, as it’s a bit of a roundabout way to get there, but you are correct it does work. As far as 2 goes, I disagree. There are a ton of hands that bufferlo helps with. Opening it+jaguar/foxy allows them to be proper extenders, by pitching them and potentially drawing into gazelle or another usable salad name. It’s not as consistent as debug lady, but if you open debug+foxy/jaguar even though you have full combo, the jaguar and foxy are stuck in hand and have no way of getting to the grave. Granted, these are 1 ofs in your list so it won’t happen often, but I have had many hands that are bufferlo+foxy and I manage to draw into some sort of salad name to pitch for foxy that can then revive itself. I will concede I was wrong in regards to Nibiru and lady debug being full combo, this is something I will happily accept. I do however think bufferlo does serve a certain purpose of giving you more playable hands, at the cost of consistent end boards. Additionally, I would like to see you re-visit this list when code of soul releases, as it turns debug lady+gazelle into the current full combo+a board wipe, with no extra summons.

@hyperlink6547 Jaguar is still an important extender that allows you to play under Nib. I don't really worry about those instances because, like you said, I play so few copies already anyway. In order to keep up with some of the top decks, I think consistency is very important. Bufferlo has its moments to shine, but I don't think that time is right now. I also will be doing an update when Soul comes out.
