Deep in my subconscious is my love for Afghanistan and the people there. Thank you so much for sharing this video! I just LOVED the whole thing - car ride, sweety children and the absolute beauty of the Salang river - so clear and beyond anything I've ever seen before - I hope you postmore of these family videos!

ahhh we went to that restaurant at 0:47!! the ssalang route is risky, but what a phenomenal view there is on the way!! the mountains and rivers are stunning!

Maxim Polyanski near Salang they still have the old Soviet base full of abandoned tanks and military vehicles. Nothing but a mine field they left behind.
