Account Executive
One of the most exciting roles in sales is the account executive. Any account executive acts as the quarterback of a business development deal. It's the Account Executives (also known as an AE) job to maintain the client's relationship and make decisions on which other team members they should bring into the deal. Account executives will also lead sales meetings, demos, presentations, and negotiations. And of course, Account Executives will be paid high commissions for closing significant deals for the company.
Sales & Business Development Representatives
SDR and BDR are the unsung heroes of sales. They're the ones who actively look for new clients to work with and generate meetings for account executives. Without SDRs and BDRs, and AE will have nothing to close. Sales and business development reps will typically generate meetings with clients via cold call, cold email, and LinkedIn.
Account Manager
Once a deal is closed, and the account manager's role is to make sure the customer is happy with the product and service they've just purchased. The Account Manager (also known as an AM) is also responsible for upselling and renewing customers.

In czech rep. many startup companies offer AM role with AM + AE + SDR responsibilites. How would you negotiate the salary?

What did you do before becoming an account executive? Because I assume that you didn't get there straight out of college

I started as an Account Executive but I also had to do SDR work and generate leads at the same time. Some companies will hire people straight into the AE role without prior sales experience if they believe you can learn on the job quickly.

Hey i am from indonesia. I think what he shared is quite a lot but he can deliver it without having trouble. If he try to make slower explanation i expect the audience will feels like being lectured and start to get bored. Maybe turning on the CC might help you catching up. @@messiahscent As a junior it was more of hunting new clients. With Senior it is more of farming + hunting.
