They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

I believe there is somthing missing from this both should have been played from there respective devices as I dont realy know what apple has but the akgs mixed with Samsung's tuner that sets the music to your ears is way different than stock audio through the headphones.

I have a set of the Samsung earphones they sound great and there tough they literally survived going through the washing machine a few times because I tend to forget them in my pocket but I also like the Apple ones because they sit better in my ears.

I tend to open this kind of videos and after 2-3 minutes I have to close it 😅 My problem is that I am an Iphone user but their earphones doesn't fit to my ear at all. So I am looking forward to buy this akg even though I am using an Iphone. I have a short adaptor. I don't know why I like cable earphones instead of wireless ones. Or maybe I can do any better choice by buying neither of them, and to look out for any other brand. What can anyone suggest to me? Thank you all!

The cable quality of the Samsung looks better and the earphones themselves look much more comfortable, like aftermarket earphones. Great comparison, even better that you are one of the few I have found from a fellow Aussie perspective.

I have both. Eaepods are great non-in-ear earphones, AKGs are great in-ear earphones. They're in different categories.

Hey, I have AKG earbuds, (the S8 model) and I want to upgrade. I'm looking for earbuds tuned for rock and metal music. I'm looking for something with great low-end and high-end and NOT so many of the high-mid range (I mean, those harsh 3-6 kHz frequencies) Can you recommend something under 30 dollars? I'm listening to bands, like Amaranthe, Crazy Lixx, Slipknot, etc.

From experience, for the Samsung headphones I suggest generating heat in the rubber. This would make it stay in your ear for longer. Take formula 1 for example. They have a formation lap before the race so they can heat up there tyres. This makes it grip more to the tarmac track

Apple is much louder but akg tend to have way better sound quality

I feel obligated to say that although the AKG headphones don't have very good bass if you use an equalizing software you can get pretty excellent sound imho. Thanks for the surprisingly entertaining video as well, I found myself chuckling more than a couple times lol

I listen music from 7 years old always love in ear model like old earset samsung with rubber until AKG and since hear earpods all change, at the first i deny what apple can do with sound with headset model like that but now i listen with 2 this model ,this 2 complete me,btw i also have sennheiser,jbl,skullcandy and audio technica headphones ,this is my opinion 😁😁

I live in India and you sound Indian too albeit you are at the initial phase of picking up the American accent where you have moved not too long ago and you were ably assisted by your kid . Bet my bottom follar you are a Bengalee I bought a Samsung AKG in ear monitor last week and it is divine in sound with Spotify and UTUBE and carties every detail of sound and is a true representation of the high class of the AKG stable. AKG is a brand which makes ptofessional sound systens , equipments and accessories. AKG was acquired few years ago by Samsung which saddened me but thankfully Samsung has maintained the European standards in AKG .

I prefer Apples EarPods. They fit really well in my case they are clear and have plenty of bass. I’ve recently upgraded to AirPods and they sound even better and you just feel free whilst wearing them, But the the aka ones never really fitted correctly in my ears. Also the audio never sounded as good and they always blocked out to much noise whilst wearing them for everyday use. Sure they’re good for noise canceling on planes ect but most people have over ear headphones for that. For everyday use I’d like to pause them quickly and not have to take them out to talk to someone. I’d call my self an audiophile but I still much prefer the EarPods for everyday use. Maybe it’s my ears or maybe I just prefer the way they’re tuned because I’m a heavy bass enthusiast and like house music. My EarPods have gone through the wash and still work great. Although they have stopped working as the cables has been damaged over a year and the grill can get filled with dirt and stop full sound coming out. With the akgs I lost the eartips so many times and the cable stopped working a lot easier than apples surprisingly. It’s up to the user I personally prefer apples as they work well with iPhone and they sounds better in my opinion.
