This was more like a volleyball game at times, Brentford did disrupt Arsenal's flow a bit but this game also showed Arsenal can win in multiple ways and be physical as well.

it was because there was a possibility he was going to be poached from us, and Mikel had to make sure we had a working system without him, during that time the media was asking why he was dropped and the boss reiterated how important Gabbi was for us and that he'd play a lot of games. As soon as the window shut and we knew he was staying he went straight back into the team. Mikel was doing what was best for Arsenal, trust him.

Kane is a different level to Toney to be fair. Also Bayern have CB deletion specialists like Sane, Musiala and Gnarby....many man dem to worry about. Brentford did not carry a similar attacking threat. The game against Bayern has to be very tactical and our guys need to play without fear. If they get past Bayern it would give them loads of confidence. For all their progress in the last 2 years, this Arsenal side is still inexperienced as far as the Champions League is concerned. We want them to do well but we also need to just support them game by game.

The backline is strong mentally and physically , with the like of Saliba Gabriel with Rice and Kai above them , you can see Arsenal won most of air dueling in the midfield .

What impresses me in this duo is that the two guys have opposite qualities which complete each other, Saliba is that guy who is calm who do not speak too much while Gabriel is that guy so talkative at any action, Saliba is quicker thing that helps during counterattack while Gabriel is not too rapid but can go help to get a goal in case of a corner kick coz he jumps well and he's tall I think for the third year together they will be the greatest duo Central Back in Europe

I still rate Gabriel a lot higher than Saliba. Gabriel is always pumped, show ironfist aggression. While Saliba in my humble opinion is though faster, he is lack aggression which CB more prioritised. Saliba without Gabriel is just a normal CB in EPL.
