honestly shes the first obsessive character ive seen in media that wasnt depicted as a "yandere" or some crap. she doesnt try to ruin his chances with what he loves purposly to make him upset, and she later on accepts if he doesn't love her the same. shes and jack are some of the most well written characters ive seen

Thats healthy to communicate concerns and Im glad shes being shown to be someone who isnt just "Oh I love him, therefore I must support every single little thing even if i have a bad feeling!". She genuinely tries to warn him, and when she is going along with his stuff she shows concern and discomfort.

I know a lot of people say her’s and Jack’s romance wasn’t good but tbh I always got the impression they had a good friendship dynamic established before the movie. Despite the fact she’s always cooped up he knows she’s a talented seamstress, he didn’t find it odd at all when she gave him stuff for his experiments, she knew she’d be fine with the fall so she’s definitely done it before, at the end he says “I can’t believe I never realized” before getting cut off so there’s definitely more past there. He even calls her his dearest friend (so damn cute) even in romantic context. I feel like they’ve just both liked each other for awhile now but neither of them realized the other liked them back. Additionally in Long Live the Pumpkin Queen they get straight up married just a year later after the movie so I refuse to believe they didn’t have that time as friends together.

We can also add that in the newest graphic novel Battle For Pumpkin King, we see that Jack and Sally have know each other since they were kids, with Jack visiting her and Finklestein so he can learn experiments, and Sally is even the one who nominated Jack to be the next Pumpkin King, so we can say that Jack and Sally were childhood friends turned lovers

A lot of people consider Sally an obsessive stalker. I'd like to remind everyone that she didn't follow Jack into the graveyard. Also, it's implied that she and Jack were already close before the events of the film, so she just wanted to see Jack's performance in the Halloween festivities (not to mention that her "father" clearly never let her watch the festivities). The fact that they already knew one another makes them more realistic than the "falls in love in a ridiculously short timespan" romances we see in a lot of Disney movies. Favorite Disney couple of all time!

I want to add that the "fall in love in a short time span" is not supposed to be taken literally: it's a metaphor, that's how fairy tales are supposed to work. "The princess gets kidnapped, the prince saves her, they fall in love and lived happily ever after" the end; the fact that people always go "Ugh, dude/gurl you fell in love in one day" makes me question if they're aware of that.

Honestly given how obsessive Marinette (from miraculous ladybug) acted with Adrien, even if Sally was indeed obsessed/stalker as people say she is. Well then she's far clam and tone down, honestly I always never seen any sign that she was obsessed. Sally seemed like someone who does have a crush on jack, but doesn't let that affect her anything and tries to be there for jack as a the supportive friend she is. While possibly hitting at the fact that she has feelings for him without our right saying it to him and letting him figure it out himself or him to say that he has feelings for her first

The timing of this is quite fitting. My latest costume was actually Sally, which I got to wear to a Convention and a Halloween party in October. I carried around a Zero plush and a bag that looked like Sally's jar of Deadly Nightshade. I'm so happy that so many people loved my costume. I'm gonna wear it again for another Con this month. Can't wait!

You can’t help who you love. Jack had his head up his ass about stealing Christmas and he reciprocated her love when he realized the whole time she was trying to tell him it would blow up in his face while also being supportive and admiring his ambition. They saved Santa together and Santa set Jack straight that Sally was a good lady and the only one with common sense.

I like to think when she cooks for Jack the first time, she adds the Deadly Night Shade since she's so used to always putting it in her cooking. Jack: Wow, Sally! I didn't know you were such a good cook - *face falls straight into the soup and starts snoring* Sally: Opps.... force of habit...
