Tips: 1) The nuke is easier in duos than trios & quads because the element timer is so much slower with larger squad sizes (10m45s for quads, 8m35s for trios, 6m40s for duos). Duos is definitely your best bet. You'll never run down the timer in Trios or Quads unless you have an insanely stacked team of WSOW sweats and $100k starting cash. 2) The phone does more than just give money every 20 seconds, each payout also takes 8 SECONDS OFF THE NUKE TIMER. 8 seconds off, 3 times a minute is HUGE for the nuke. Holding the phone is by far the single most helpful thing you can do. Looks like on your attempt 6 you didn't actually go for the phone and just did contracts for money, so you weren't getting any of the payouts or time off throughout the match by holding it. 3) Delegate roles, element mule + buy spammer. The element mule should be the player who's the best at fighting/surviving. He gives all his money to the buy spammer, takes the element(s) and leaves the area to make sure the buy spammer is left alone. Holding the element draws enemies and makes buying hard. Buy spammer holds the phone and spends money on plates in the firesale as fast as possible. 4) In the firesale, 1 min off the timer costs $9k worth of plates. Outside the firesale it costs $18k per minute, so it really behooves you to use the firesale (and also just have as much money as possible). 5) Farm enemies if they have self-revives like 7:52 - you can interrogate him once, let him self-revive then down him again, allowing you to interrogate a 2nd time. You can only execute a player once. 6) Top floor of grandma's house has Vikhor's keycard which will give an Advanced UAV and $8k from stronghold. It's close to the headquarters bunker so it's minimal extra effort to get more money and a useful resource. 7) Save an Advanced UAV until your 1st element is soon to drop. Use it to scout the entire map and see which areas are busy. This way you can pick a quiet buy station for plate spamming and the element mule can avoid high traffic areas/find a power position to defend which isn't already camped. 8) A deployable buy station on top of a building (e.g. headquarters) is a very defensible position. You can both camp up there, spamming plates and subsequent elements may even land on the roof with you. The entire lobby will push in underneath you and 3rd party each other while you hold the ladders. 9) The "battle hardened" perk provides some protection from the electric effects of element 2. Instead of tazing you for 2 seconds, that duration is reduced to 1 second. It's basically identical to the effect of a shock stick with/without the perk.

Got some tips for you Sally, as someone who has done 20+ rebirth island nukes successfully here’s what will most likely work best for you: Basically people are going to tell you it’s easier to nuke in a gamemode like duos because the timer is around 6:30 minutes which is considerably shorter than the 10:30 minutes in squads, while that is true I still find it to be easier in squads or trios (trios is 8:30), that way you can still stick close to your teammates but not have to worry about being completely wiped if one of you dies. After you have your squad I would recommend lobby surfing until you find a game with around 3+ hack contracts in decent locations, as well as the occasional recon drone and scav contracts. I would also advise you get unidentified phone, and 2-3 of any of the Easter egg key cards, when going for my nukes I usually go for phone, the key card at grandmas house, the key card in the building next to nova (factory), or all of them combined (including the one at bio), this can easily get you around 20-30k plus free loadouts and specialist (depending on the cards you grab). Not only is the unidentified phone good for money but it also reduces around 12 seconds of the element timer each time it gives you money which makes it really nice to have. For squads I would recommend having around 100k+, for trios around 60-80k+, for duos 40-50k+ and so on (money will only increase as long as you are killing teams and staying alive), I would strongly recommend trying trios in your case in which one person will be getting phone, and grandmas key card and novas key card (all in close proximity) while that may be difficult it is extremely helpful and still very much possible, this leaves the other 2 teammates to collect contracts to gain money. After this you should be ready to pop your nuke contract, stay close together and stack as a team, making sure to kill, interrogate, and execute. It would also be smart to let downed players self if you are confident enough in your situation so you can down them again and interrogate them again. Each element should then be held by one person, even though BE is the only one defined as marking you for the whole lobby to see, all elements will do the same and still have their other debuffs, this means the person carrying the elements needs to be well protected and stack with the team. The second element to get is NP which acts like an occasional shock stick shooting your gun in hip fire, this can easily reveal your location to nearby enemies making teamwork even more important, lastly is T, this one you will likely not really have to worry about because it will be later in the game but what T does is scramble your radar (basically a counter UAV) and disable your ability to drive a vehicle when close to it. At no point in time should you get greedy for kills and run away because dying will not only set you and your team back, but lower the teams money and add an additional 38 seconds to the element timers. Another thing is you cannot drop elements or die with them, this will completely stop the element timer but the whole nuke contract timer will continue to count down, remember time is everything. You’ll want to secure a safe place to hold, likely control (may come with some fighting), top prison (with a portable buy station), or nova. You need to be aware of fire sale time as well as this is your biggest asset, fire sale always occurs at the beginning of the 3rd zones reveal, taking a couple seconds and showing up at around 1:06 on the zone timer, this is when 1-2 people will spam buy plates while the other drops money, watches element timers, and watches for enemies. Fire sale is also a great time to buy an advanced UAV which can be done by buying 3 normal UAVs and popping them all at the same time (costing 9k in fire sale and 18k without fire sale), this helps the defending teammate tremendously and can help you determine how safe your area is by showing all the teams and where they are looking on the map 24/7 for 60 seconds. I would recommend whoever is holding elements to also be buying plates as they are the ones with the debuffs and will be most likely to lose a fight one on one. This means one of the better players on the team needs to hold elements so they can hopefully win their one on ones in any given situation, leaving another good player to defend the people buying for element timers. This leads to the planting stage, YOU CANNOT BY ANY MEANS KILL THE LAST PLAYED BEFORE THE NUKE IS ARMED! This may mean your teammates have to distract the last player by running around them and not shooting them so you can arm the nuke in time. If this step is ignored and you kill the last player before arming, this will completely finish the game and all that work will be for nothing, wasting a nuke contract, the person with the elements will likely need a gas mask as some bomb sites will spawn outside of zone (but not too far), after all elements are planted all that’s left is arming the nuke which will take around 15 seconds, if in gas this will completely kill you, meaning you need to have full health before you plant the bomb, after planting you have to worry about people defusing if there are still quite a few players left, the disarming sequence takes around 10-15 seconds (I’m not sure for rebirth but defend the bomb like it’s 10 seconds just to be safe), if the enemy team successfully defuses the nuke, the game will end giving you second place immediately. A good way to stop this is by having precision airstrikes or mortar strikes, usually you won’t have to do this as the contract will take you to the end zone if all elements are acquired at a normal time (it can be done insanely fast but speed is not your priority). By this time it should be the last team, if not there is usually not very many people left in which you can kill them all, reducing the bomb timer to 6 seconds in which it will go off and you will recieve your rewards (I would recommend that one person stays on the bombsite at all times just to make sure no one sneaks to the defuse).
