In mexico , we called people who are handsy ,for example teens or young guys/girls making out ,as octopus , cause their hands where all over the places as if they had many tentacles . Which is where her reference came from.

Wow, she has Dyslexia. My son has Dyslexia so it's really amazing and encouraging to see someone who is so successful and a roll model to millions of people have something my son struggles with. We were told to encourage what he's good at which is what we try to do. This just adds another level of humanity to your persona.

She did so great, very funny and memorable. She really held her own and was in it, she didn’t reserve anything she wasn’t timid or at least she didn’t come off that way. She was surprising and very refreshing. So there were three strong lead characters in this movie not just the two guys and a couple of cute phrases coming out of the pretty female lead. She totally brung it and I loved it, the humor and the energy from beginning to the end so great.

@Patricia d'Assier I didn’t mean it like that, I don’t think most high rating movies give the pretty lady lead roles same amount of funny or lovable lines as they do their male lead counter part and they can get lost in the mix and forgotten the lines they did have. Salma was given way more of these funny lovable lines that were so memorable. All love, love and no judgment intended. Have a nice day.

About having to practice the movie's name, she says she's dyslexic, but it also doesn't help that in Spanish, we say everything reversed, like noun then adjective, whereas in English, it's adjective before noun. I.e: casa Blanca in Spanish, White house in English.

In the movie, she was told, "You are rather old for an Octopussy". That really burst out any anger in any woman for being told old. The wardrobe technical team or the CGI really did a great job for Salma Hayek, making it look great in shape for a young woman.
