Salmon Run Recreation Site BC - Camping Next To The River

2 ай бұрынI noticed the temperatures were going to be higher if I went camping rather than staying at home. A quick decision to hit the road after choosing which recreation sites to visit. Salmon Run Recreation Site is about 45 minutes or so from Terrace. The road in is fairly good condition and a two wheel drive car could make it to the campsite.
The site was being expanded during my stay. It is about double the size it was before. Fishing from here would be popular even for day trips, so keep in mind that sites may open as the day ends. Thanks for watching and be good to yourself.

I can relate to what you were saying about the mind's resistance to dropping your perceived responsibilities to go out on a spontaneous trip. When you finally get out there, you realize that it was obviously a no-brainer decision. Thanks for reminding me about that!

Excellent, some cracking spots to camp and so much space. I'm looking forward to getting away to Fort Augustus in a couple of weeks with the family, managed to replace both lower wishbones on the Subaru XV and overhaul the brakes this past weekend, going to be a fully loaded car so better safe than sorry. Its definitely more fun going on remote adventures with others and I think it is sensible of you to consider taking along a friend on the less trodden mountain track, just in case, shame I'm a few thousand miles away it looks ace. Happy trails as Van Halen sang.🙋♂

I'm not as sensible in the next video lol. It's a rough section and not going to be easy to get someone to go out with me in the future. Good trip to plan though. Have a good time!

@@DetoxProxy 100%! We did and off-road trip to Bella Coola a couple years back - just amazing!! You just can’t beat BC!!
