nice yesterday there's a old guy snagging on the shallow water near the ramp using treble hook and broke his rod when he snagged a tank lol😂😂

how do you snag? I got fish a few days ago. the hook was gone from outside in, rather than from within. I made no effort to make it be that way. is that a snag?

Hi! Is it cause they fish during night time or cause of snagging? I wonder how can we know if they was snag or not. We just went to port hope and we wasent even abble to get one single touch in 3 days.

Snagging is illegal along with fish limits depending on type of licence(conservation or sport). That size of hook alone along with being weighted almost proves snagging is the technique.

We were fishing all day in port hope and landed one after 5 hours and a 40 minute fight . The group next to us had 5 by within 4 hrs , thought their Technique was excellent. Now I suspect snagging … I dint know we could report. Worst are people who scoop up with a net

every year we go through this , are we not learning anything here , CLOSE THE RIVERS , this shit will never stop and its giving Port Hope a bad name , just like the credit river years ago

of course! Then the honest anglers have no access for fishing. What a GREAT solution!!! Fine heavy the snaggers that's it! On the weekends there are no conservation officers there at all! Never see them.

that's what I just said this has been going on since the late 70's, the population that fished then was less then half of what it is , The government is not about to put more money into Natural Resources , I get what u are saying it would impact the honest angler, Personally I can't stand fishing beside someone that is snagging , and truly there is no way to stop it , The C.O officers r all ready over worked with having to cover large area's

You can! If you snag the fish, $10,000 fine, or one month in jail. Also please educate the public, It should have much bigger posters to inform the public more effectively! The other solution is fly fishing only! …that's it! Oh, well, "we cannot do nothing" - let's cancel culture and bring stupid measures! The first thing is to educate people!!! Canada now is 40 million in population! In the last 5 years, we received 3 million immigrants mostly from third world countries. Let's educate them, before they think it is all about surviving on fish meat! This is a noble sport, especially fly fishing. I tie my own flies and I treat the fish with much respect, do not litter and kind with others. Simple!@@Bryan-dn1nx

salmon egg is one of the famous japanese sushi ingredients and it tastes pretty nice if curing with sake. Its not the matter of taste but the matter of ecosystem.
