The stylist said, she's got "that" 4c hair. Why does it have to be "that" 4c hair apposed to simply 4c hair. Your hair is so full and beautiful.

Your hair stylist is great. She gave really good advice and also I like the fact that she mentions to do what is comfortable for you in terms of what we use to take care of our natural hair.

@@gordenmarthadove122 I do a pre-shampoo with avocado oil and honey on damp hair under a plastic bag for 20 minutes, wash with a moisturising shampoo, place a deep conditioning mask on my hair and sit under a good dryer for 30 mintues. I tie my hair in a t-shirt for 45 minutes to 1 hour to allow it to dry but not completely dry. I then detangle and place my hair in twist. When I get to the very top, I smooth it down and only twist the very ends so that it looks neat.

@@foreverblessed7326 I started off doing this every week. I also don't comb or re-twist my hair if it is not wash day. I just used a cream moisturiser on them when they feel dry. Now, I do this every two weeks because I just had a baby and it's tough to take care of my hair. However, I haven't seen any breakage or split ends doing this only twice a month instead of 4 times.

I added the link for the hair growth oil in my description box. For moisture I used au naturale curling cream from Walmart with the eco styled olive oil gel. For shampooing and conditioner I use African pride.

I can never understand why people come into a salon and wait for the stylist to take their hair down out of the bun. Im not even a stylist and it erks me to watch it time and time again. I want to advocate for the stylists all over the world on this topic only...please help them out or be courteous at the least when you sit in the chair have your hair already taken down! Your paying them to do your have not to remove your buns, ponytials ect.
