Just back from salou on friday,red hot weather great bars and people,feels very safe.was nice to see in your video all the places and the same bar we went to.would i go back,100% yes yes.

Near the tall triangular sculpture, I'm very fond of the boardwalk that hugs the rocks near there. It's a nice contrast of an area that feels more natural compared to the rest of the nearby coastline, which is hyper-developed.

In 1989 near where the fountain was located was a little fun fair. There was a little metal coaster ride and men use to play dare tricks on it. For example walking on the head rests and jumping off before it went through a tunnel. And putting their heads on the track and removing them a split second before the trains were about to hit them! H&S would not allow this today. 😂

Last time I went was probably 18 years ago. Went for 2 weeks and did Port Aventura 4 days in that stay, cannot believe how Salou is still the same but Port Aventura has had so many new rides. Must get back out there!

Portaventura in October has Halloween theme right through the month well worth a visit

I went in 2002 looks like it has not changed much. I remember the weather being rally bad for six days. Thee last day of the holiday was beautiful and went to portaventura. What a park lovely. I reccommend going to Tarragona was a great sbopping centre there and not too far. I hired a car love the next town next to Salou Cambrills thats lovely as well. Hope you had a great time out there. Love Salou. Went there when my girls were little. Stayed at Golden Avenida. Great place and really friendly. Port Aventura just up the road was the perfect location. Ha love those seaside tat shops, usually come out with a new bag/towel/ fridge magnet 😂 Watching your vid makes me want to go back!

Went to Salou a few years ago. Didn't do Pirt Aventura unfortunately but a really nice place.

Great Vlog, we went to Salou last year because of your vlogs and going again this year for our honeymoon. Would be great to see you vlog other areas such as Reus, Cambrils and Tarragona which are all day trips available from Salou on the bus plana.

We’ve cycled all up and down the promenade, the cycle paths are brilliant. Even when you go on the road there are bollards separating bikes from cars so it feels safer. You can hire bikes from loads of places in Salou. We hired them from the hotel. House of illusion is a great evening show to visit. We’ve done it twice and it moved location last time we saw it and is nearer where you started the walk. There’s always loads of brits in Salou.

Hi Sean, just for info the Fountain show hasn’t been on for like a year due to drought conditions. Unfortunately it’s unlikely to be back this year as they are making restrictions tighter this year.

We went to this bar when we went salou, the milkshakes are so good with all the chocolate coated glasses. We are going on holiday in July, just me and my partner no kids. Our second holiday without children in 21 years of being together. We was stuck between salou and benidorm, but benidorm won. We are staying in the old town to ensure peace at night 😂. Can't be doing with all the rowdy young ones(im only 37 😂)

Going again this year absolutely love the place but never been here 💯 will be going though.

7:16 Nope, but a lot of my friends and relatives have been to Barcelona, Spain which is not too far east of Salou. I don't know why, but they are missing out. However, Barcelona is much bigger, so they go there instead.

The fountains are not on as often this year because of the water shortage.

Shawn and Charlotte, This is a differnt side of you, you are generally a bit more restrained in your eating and drinking on the Theme Park channel. I started watching when you were adventure Shawn and gave a tour, amongst other things of Tower Bridge. If I drank cocktails like those I wouldn't be here at 82 to enjoy your adventures. I am not a prude or over cautious, but after an episode in my early twenties I pretty much gave up alcohol except for an nice cocktail at dinner or a craft beer. You are both so young so you don't have to suffer the consequences of indulgence, yet:) Cheers, Rik Spector

The trouble with salou, there is no night life, just food and drinks places.

I’m not being rude but could you talk a bit slower please, did you used to do bingo calling. It’s beautiful there is there many decent Spanish restaurants, the beach is nice but no wooden areas to go onto the beach with a mobility scooter
