😂 i identified my salt within 2 mins... i tested for grp 1 before grp 0 and got lead... then it was obvious that my salt was lead acetate as i knew that our lab had only lead acetate as other salts of lead are precipitate and cannot be given for practical...

Great video. Lots of students don't focus on practicals and so find this hard. Well done for helping them. Two points... I've never heard of N or (SO4)2- being described as radicals. I would have thought radicals are species with unpaired electrons. This unpaired e- isn''t present in any of the cations of anions featured. And at 3:58 BaCl2(aq) test will also give a white ppt if a carbonate was present. It can be distinguished from the SO4)2- and (SO3)2- based precipitates by the acid you added as effervescence will be observed and the ppt will disappear. If you teach CAIE board, AgBr(s) is best described as a 'cream' colour - it's useful to tap into their terminology.
