Thank You, Mr. Micallef for sharing this knowledge of how salt is produce and shares throughout the world. Personally, this is one of the most important gift that was given to us by the creator. In addition, every household throughout the world today have salt from their fields to their kitchens. very much appreciated. :-)

That's sea salt but in Pakistan there is pure salt of mountain so no need for purification just break it then grind it and use it .

OMG! Such ignoramus commentary by racist individuals who write bad English themselves (i.e. gonna, friggin..."). I could understand everything she said and it was fascinating. So thank you.

'Emptied over a big mound of salt'. The mound is about 3 feet tall. Now watch a video about how they do exactly the same process in America, but mechanised. Thier 'big mounds' are EIGHTY (yes 80) feet high.

I really wish we didn't need salt for most foods to taste better. Our taste buds can sense a wide variety but are so fucking dull for flavors

Horrible voice for commentary. Of you're gonna have an English-language commentary use someone who speaks friggin English!!! This is worse than calling tech support!!!

First learn proper English when replying about someone's "poor English", and she is probably a native to this area that speaks English and as far as I can tell she's doing a good job. If you don't like it don't waste everyone's time complaining about it move on and watch a different video. Why is there always some negative ass that wants to complain.
