Gee! 😀 You actually did it. Thank you so much!!!! ❤❤❤ So very glad you liked it! I am absolutely in awe of their big Fantasy themed videos, but I think this one was yet a step above the rest. It was done for the 40th anniversary of the largest German D&D-like RPG „The dark Eye“. (It was also the first time they did hire a complete camera crew instead of doing the filming themselves because of the scale of the project) They had to do the filming for this video in 4 days due to scheduling reasons. This is why most of it was shot after dark, as it was in winter, when daylight hours are considerably less than night hours over here. (Which I think is a pity - I would have loved to see more of those orcs). Thank you again, and have a nice weekend. 😊

This is so awesome! You know that Blind Guardian is one of the Back Bones? they´re doing their thing since the 80s? Im 42 now, we listened to BG with a Walkman back then in School bus😊 They are the best! May I leave a request? Blind Guardian - The bards Song. The Director's cut is a movie 😯 - It's basically the video with additional footage, a symphonic soundtrack and a German narrator. And it was so, so good. I think it was said that they are about to release an English version of that, too. If that's out, I'll let you know.

Hi there, Ladies! I just wanted to let you know that on July 12th, Finsterwacht (the song or rather, the music video) will be released in English as "Darkenguard". Now that this is underway, I have high hopes for the Director's cut to be published in English, too...

It took them four days to film. Saltatio Mortis are fans of the German pen and paper role-playing game The Black Eye. The box set also includes a novel that contains the content of the video and a solo adventure in the role-playing game with the background story of the video.
