Galway is one of the top places to visit in Ireland. Salthill is just minutes from Galway city.
Summer 2020 has been a very different summer for everyone. Due to travel restrictions many Irish families are having a "staycation" instead of going abroad.
There is plenty to do in Salthill from swimming and paddleboarding in Galway Bay to Restaurants and Casinos.
Join us as we have a walk around seeing what Salthill is like.

Salthill looks like a lovely place ,the view of the ocean and all the nice shops, it would make for a wonderful Vacation and if you are local you did not even have to travel, sometimes we forget about all the nice area's that are around us, we see them all the time so we take them for granted, excellent video

Lovely video - hard to believe I was down there last autumn. Great to re-walk the Salthill prom and remember all the sights we saw then. Look forward to a revisit when the restrictions allow! Music added to the relaxing view,and I could walk each step as we stayed in the same hotel with the lovely flower garden.

Looks a nice relaxing place by the sea, has a real holiday vibe, and some cozy bars too, Ireland's def on my bucket list, never been there even though I'm part Irish ... long story :)
