Fishing can be challenging enough, change to fly fishing it often gets harder, add extreme winds and it's a whole new game.
The West coast of Australia is known to be windy in August, it's just a shame that it's Johnno's birthday in August, and he loves Flyfishing.
A boys weekend (I had to work) above Broome WA, chasing the hard to catch (on fly) Permit. Lucky they organised a day out in the deep!!!!

Hi there we were using 10 and 11wt with sinking lines 60lb bite tippet . I usually furl 40lb with a tail and then 25lb to bite tippet
