Awesome video Ace!! So those were trigger fish and/or file fish and they are very curious fish! They have been known to “attack” divers cause of how curious they are! A lot of people in Florida actually eat them and say they don’t taste like fish at all! They also have a leather like skin that you peel off when cleaning

@@spinster4000 Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This is the Okaloosa Island Pier. It used to be much longer, but Hurricane Opal tore that section apart in 95. There is another pier about 20 minutes away heading west, in Navarre Beach. It's much newer and I believe it's longer too.

I used to live near a pier and it was amazing they had really good ice cream and crinkle fries and the beach was always really beautiful

I was literally just there lol I just moved down here! It's so dam beautiful! It was my first time ever fishing in the ocean! I had so much dam fun! I felt like a noob but I starting using live bait and put more weight on. Being a fisher since I was little it's so awesome to see the ocean I caught some mackerel and blue fish! And got bit by a blue fish lol but I'm so glad I moved I'm at home around here! 🥰👌

When fishing for Pompano, you wanna Use Sand Crabs "Sand fleas". Pompanos love Sand Fleas and sometimes you'll catch a Sheepshead, Blackdrum and/or Redfish on Sand Fleas

I came to Destin in August and fished off that pier as well. We stayed at Sun Destin. We fished off the dock but didn't catch anything, a pompano rig and everything. Glad to see a catch and cook from this spot.

The fish coming up to the Camera was a Filefish. Their main diets are sponges and soft corals so your bright colored camera case probably looks like a sponge to them.
