Mind you, it's still a great version (I've seen quite some amateur versions which were far worse), but the flow of the melody and song is much better in the a cappella original of Loituma.

It's funny how you can tell they have an accent with that gibberish too 😂 Although it's gibberish, it's Finnish gibberish 😅 There are some actual words in it and many of the "words" are pretty close to some actual words. They're not pronouncing the syllables correctly 🤗 Ps. They sing Ieva's (Eva's) name as Leva 🤔

That was fun! Not being a Finn I cannot understand a word so it doesn't matter if its authentic or complete or whatever some people are complaining about, though I can appreciate how much that must be annoying to you all who do speak Finnish or at least know the song as it should be sung. Nevertheless purely from the point of view of entertainment, I found this very light hearted, amusing entertainment. So thanks.

I am only referring to the pronunciation of Ievan in the video. All instances of Ievan in the video are spelt correctly. I am referring to the pronunciation of the word. In russian "kutya" means new born baby-dog, puppy. In bulgarian "kuta" means adult dog. In sanscrite too.

Good performance! Pronunciation isnt always right, but its very difficult. Best was 1:02 . I would absolutely give this 10 out of 10 points. Great job!

So many Finns here angry that non-natives don't sing one of our most difficult songs ever perfectly. :/ I found it very good. Being able to understand the words is a good measure and even the scat-singing parts are recognisable.

Oh, come on! I was able to understand 90% of what they were saying! It was a nice performance. The language isn't the easiest - especially since it has a specific dialect.
