H.C. Really? Riccardo Cocchi who you have stood atop of mountains and exalted your devoted admiration for often wore white shirts and at times covered with more glitz and bling than yulia. You never chastised him about his white shirts nor about his full white suit he wore and said he should wear all black. Why is that Helge? Why ok for one but not ok for another. Please, do offer an explanation. Also, how do you know the white shirt disturbed the judges eyes? Did they tell you? No! You just make wild unsubstantiated, ludicrous assumptions. One should speak with facts Helge or not speak at all. Its not my most favourite thing I've seem him wear, but I doubt very much the white shirt and design had anything to do with the result.

@@joetesta8754 I have NEVER been in love with Riccardo´s blings or white colour, never. Although Riccardo is a bit smaller than Salvo and not so dominant. Very, very, very many times (do you forget) have Mr. Testa CRITIZISED Riccardo for bings and not wearing all black. I HAVE ALWAYS AGREED WITH YOU IN THAT. ALWAYS !!! However, I have always praised Riccardo and Yulia´s technique and timing. You too, but you put more stress on other aspects like artistry (or lack of artistry). I did not write I KNOW it disturbed the judges eyes. I wrote that I WAS AFRAID it did. You have yourself told couples that such details matter. You even told a young couple that the world of dancesport is "fiercely unforgiving" and such things can make a difference. (Just like the girl´s dress is quite important.) I think Victoria loves my honesty, and Salvo too, in expressing my feelings on this. As everybody (and most of all me) wish them to be CHAMPIONS.

H.C, Get a grip!!! I have not been a fan of bling on males in genera, because for the most part it effeminates males too much, which I felt it did with Riccardo and said so many times. I never ever said he should wear only black. I liked him in many outfits especially when not over fussy with the glitz. I said I felt some his shirts were over or poorly decorated and he looked fussy or less masculine in them. I stand by those remarks. If you weren't in love with his bling and white shirts, how come you never commented on it? NEVER! Saying I'm afraid, doesn't alter to the meaning of your statement. Again insufficient understanding and use of English vocabulary. Yes, artistry in dance is everything to me, that's how I was trained al the best coaches including Donnie burns ( did I spell it right) is huge on that aspect. Remember this, oh knowledgeable one. Technique is what makes dance excellent. Artistry is what makes it beautiful and that I feel is the issue with Kirill. He's an awesome technician and mover, as Riccardo is, but not so much a artist imo. That may explain to you why he is not ranked No1 or 2. @@joetesta8754 It is always Great Fun to reply Joe Test. As a decent man I do not repeat comments about clothes even now and then, but I have commented it on Riccardo. And, important, Joe Testa knows very well that I on top (No.1) of my list of "UNIQUE MASTERPICES IN BALLROOM AND LATIN HISTORY" I always put Slavik and Karina, Slavik, importantly, always wearing black. You forget that Kirill is a splendid actor (his show imitating Donnie Burns brought down the Blackpool audience in endless standing ovation). As he develops, so does artistry. Technique first, then artistry.

H.C. if you were any kind of follower and had good historical insight into Slavik (which you don't) you would know very well that he didn't always wear black at all, except toward the latter years of his career. One thing he never wore however unlike Riccardo and so many others at that time was alot of bling. Infact very little , maybe a touch here and there. but most times none. He didn't need it and id say he wasn't a big fan of it as I am not, especially when its done badly. I studied Slavik for a long time and modelled my own dancing on his style and there's not much I don't know about him and Karina. You are no Slavik Kryklyyvy devotee, although you would have us believe differently.
