This was apparently co-written by Avi & Kevin, the "brothers", with input from Mitch. Notice that, while Kevin does the throat effect in the one section, Avi is providing the percussive drum effects. When the two of them shared an apartment early on to save money (and that's where "Daft Punk Medley" was shot and recorded), Kevin taught Avi basic beatboxing, and Avi gave Kevin singing lessons. They're still great friends.

Here we go! This is one of their fabulous originals! They do this one live while being interviewed and it was crazy good! These people are so stinkin' talented! Love your reaction to! Thank you! By the way, didn't mind the transparency at all! I have seen the video so much that it didn't bother me! I like a hint of the video rather than none at all, but no worries!

Yes, what other group can you watch them perform such masterpieces as The Prayer or Amazing Grace and then click on them doing something like this? This will always be one of my favorite originals by them but Salvo you haven't even scratched the surface of the PTX brilliance! It was great watching how excited you were on this reaction!

The look/vibe they were going for here is "Cyber Goth", a subculture of the dance club scene. This is one of my favorites of their originals. Mitch's soaring lead is amazing, Avi & Kevin perfectly capture the pounding EDM beat, and Scott & Kirstie's backing harmonies put the cherry on top. EDM without the "E".

This song is soooo underappreciated! It is 100% my favorite and I am OBSESSED! Kevin is just stooooopid amazing in this! From his electronic bits during the breakdown, to the throat bass, to just the regular stuff like using extra breath to ADD weight to his beats just before the last drop. 🤯🤯🤯🤯

You would also love the song cologne….no video you can react to just the song. Love your videos…I think you’ll enjoy their originals maybe even more than or at least as much as their best covers. I think you would also love their cover of problem and the mash up of new rules are you that somebody (which is great to see Matt and kevin crushing it) cheers!

Yayyy! I was hoping you'd like this original when you got to it! I was a teen in the 80's when Queen did the soundtrack for a really trippy Flash Gordon movie based on a 1960's comic that was super campy like the original Batman TV show, except in space, lol. Anyway, I always think they look like villains from that movie, whenever I see it and I love it! The song kicks ass.

Since you enjoy this type of music so much, I would like to recommend one of Mitch's solo original songs under his solo project name "Messer." It is called Love Supply, and there was no official video, but a group of his followers put together a lyric video. I think you would love it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sMqBaMtmq7vMgps.html. I subscribed the first time you did a ptx reaction bc I love how laid back you are while still being able to get across how much you love love the video!! Thank you so much for going through all the stuff you have to try to get your videos uploaded. You might try uploading completely without the video. One of the other reactors that started PTX about the same time you did does that sometimes. Have you thought about doing a Patreon? I know the videos are never monetized and you can also upload the ones that keep getting blocked to Patreon.

For troublesome videos, you can always just play the music and don’t show us the video image at all. We have all seen these videos numerous times, so that would be alright. My favorite PTX song is the one I am currently listening to. Speaking of favorite, steampunk, and Kirstin, recommend their My Favorite Things.

This original is their homage to EDM. Mitch and Scott were going thru an EDM phase and they'd just done their hugely popular Daft Punk (hence the costumes and video layout). A perfect storm.

One of my favs! From what I understand Mitch loves EDM/club music. You might like Cologne. It’s a more recent original, no video so you can react to the audio and dodge the copyright gods altogether. When Love Again and Cologne come on in my playlist my house is a dance party.

Can I suggest you watch their Sing Off journey? You will learn a lot from where they came from and see how it started with the 5 of them. There are 12 performances (videos) that were judged and 2-3 more that were performances after that. They can all be located on Mr Muckbear YT channel. Keep in mind that when they found Avi & Kevin to join the group, that the DAY BEFORE auditions was they FIRST time they all came together.

Fantastic reaction! One of my favorites of their originals! I love how excited you get when the song check marks all your boxes. I say whatever it takes to get it past the block police. I can safely say that the die hard Pentaholics know theses videos with their eyes closed! I know that when I'm listening to PTX in my car, I see every frame of the video in my mind's eye. We understand the copyright and blocking issues with Pentatonix. Thank you so much for persevering. We love this song because it shows off EVERYONE!!! Yes, the fashion is definitely steam punk, so I suppose the music is, too, though I'm not familiar with that genre. I just adore how much fun they're all having!

Honestly, I think their originals are their best stuff. This song, Sing, Happy Now, Can't Sleep Love, Water, plus their slower songs like Light In The Hallway, Run To You and Standing By (which is a really cool and rather rare song with Avi as the lead the whole time and it's beautiful. There's no official video for it, but there is a really beautiful and professionally done HD recording of a live performance of it which always makes me cry) are my favorites.

When this came out I hoped this was the direction PTX would go in. Avi and Kevin make a killer EDM sound and Mitch is absolutely perfect for those EDM diva vocals. But ultimately they went in a poppier direction (which is also good - their original "Sing" is one of my favorite songs of all time) so this and Daft Punk were the only real club bangers.

If you want to hear beat box, listen to Adam Rupp's drum solo performance. Another original from Pentatonix is Natural Disaster, but you will only find a live performace of it where Avi drops some F1 bass notes. It is still good audio for a camera recorded song. Another Acapala group that you can dive into is Voice Play. They are also right up there with Pentatonix and Homefree. Keep it up, I love your reactions.

Other reactors have totally covered the video with a thumbnail. Where here to watch your reaction and understand if the video cant be seen. For those videos that your having a terrible time with, this should work well so we can see your reaction and still listen to the music.

One of my favorites. Not Electronic, they can do that with they're voices. There's a name for what Mitch can do with his voice, but I can't remember what's it's called.....it's something about dual tones.

Giggled all the way through. I knew you'd like it. As I've said, Top Pop and At Home albums. You'd also probably like many of the originals on their most recent album, The Lucky Ones. Happy Now tends to make people happy (go figure). Too many of the older songs with the more pop-ish dance-ish themes don't have videos, unfortunately. Still a bunch left, though. And if you're cool with no video or bad concert footage then songs like Na Na Na are get up and move types.

The no-video thing would be a good way to get around the SME blocks (almost all of the blocks are because of the video, not the audio). Bad concert footage is suboptimal, especially for someone who has never heard the song.

@@UserHorologium agree… I have no problem with reactions to music with visualizers only, (although they are brilliant at creating music videos), it is less hassle for the reactor. The Lucky Ones has so many good songs
