We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Salzburg, Austria on June 2019.
Salzburg is situated in a level basin on both sides of the Salzach River near the northern foothills of the Alps and the Bavarian (German) border. The historic centre of the city, with its rich mix of art and architecture, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1996. Salzburg is the city where W. A. Mozart was born and the shooting location for "The Sound of Music". Our guided walking tour is about 3 miles (4.8 km) long, starts at Love Lock Bridge, ends at The Horse Pond and covers most attractions and historic sites of Salzburg Old Town.

Salzburg is a truly beautifu and historic city, and thank you BookingHunterTV for this video, which took this viewer - at the time of writing (with his wife) in strict Coronavirus self-isolation - in what feels like an almost physical traverse through its roads, streets and squares. 4:00 You missed something! At minute 4:00 the building right in front of you, that's Christian Doppler's house of birth. Christian Doppler was a mathematician and physicist. He discovered the Doppler Effect. This principle is used in the Doppler radar which is used for weather forecast. (Pay attention to the weather forecast if you live in an English-speaking country. Sometimes they say: "And here is the picture from the Doppler radar.")

Fun fact! When I was in Austria for a semester abroad last year in Vorarlberg, my friend and I stayed at the Doppler house, as it was an Air BnB selection. Pretty cool!

I live in Southwest Florida and we went there in December...omg it was freezing (brrr) but it was so beautiful. There is so much culture in Europe, the churches, the statues, etc. We also visited Vienna and it was the same there...oh, I forgot to mention the food. Their coffee mit Schlag (whipped cream) yum. It was so much fun watching this beautiful video...thanks for sharing this.

Picked up my BMW at the Tourist Delivery Center, in Munich,after spending 2 days exploring the city, drove to Salzburg. What a beautiful city!! Got so lost driving, parked my car at the city center and took a tour bus. Enjoyed my time so much, i forgot where I parked! but found it after a short fun walking exploration! Drove on to Innsbruck and Tirol...

And the Hohensalzburg castle right on the mountain top. Where we saw the chapel at the old abandoned nunnery where the Vontrapp family were hiding. On the way to the mountain top you see the quarters behind the old cemetery where they were hiding.
