These Airskin pads sound like a really good idea, provided that they deliver collision data reliably under the circumstances that may lead to deadly robot malfunctions (i.e. electromagnetic interference that causes incorrect readouts of position/rotation sensors, causing the robot to sway uncontrollably).

What I think is going on is our economy is finally going into a recession. The big three automakers can’t give their cars and trucks away and that is affecting Tesla also. I hope I’m wrong but I think this one is gonna be a bad one..

LLMs don't know physics or chemistry so they won't solve any of the problems mentioned. They are about as useful as Aristotle. What do you mean giga-casting is out? Models 3, Y, and Cybertruck use the process.
