the only semi good thing with AI (and im not 100% this is AI) is obscurest vinyl, very goofy songs made to be in the styles of older music

I think the law should be able to stop someone from selling things made by AI if it requires someone elses ip(copyrighted, trade mark, likeness etcetera) be used to train it. but the law should not be able to stop people from making something for artistic reasons and sharing it with other people who have similar values and interests. Using it to encourage violence or to perpetuate fraud should also be illegal.

I'm not suprised, AI tech bros and users' strategy is to do whatever they want and then get sued bec. they know the profits they get from all the stolen content are way higher than any legal fees + fines, they will be asked to pay. That's why the "gap" btw AI and artists can NEVER be bridged.

AI can be a great thing (for example, AI music videos for songs that don't already have them, that kinda thing) but in general it freaks me tf out

AI can a total game changer for self discovery and growth, is leading to medical and scientific breakthroughs and has the potential to solve most problems in the world. Unfortunately, all of the wrong people are looking to control it. Annie's situation is very telling and terrifying if you ask me.

Simple, you hire a voice actor in the same likeness of your favourite actor, that is technically not a problem in anyway shape or form - what is a problem is our phoney outrage temperance culture in the most sexualised and objectified age, either have genuine moral lines or don't - either ban porn or don't, have the courage of convictions and demand that any use of the human being outwith their direct consent is immoral. Use the law. Otherwise, you are pissing in the wind. You will be used, analysed and controlled, you will never actually be free to think again, you will be constantly manipulated, and you will call it freedom.
