Ok I love this. S2 was so raw and intense, the show was still basically a newborn finding its stride. "Do I make myself CLEAR?!?" I do love me some protective bro Dean. 😍 But his identity became so intertwined in keeping his brother alive. He couldn't even begin to be ok unless Sam was ok. So the incredibly hard-to-watch scene of Sam's death was actually the scene of both brothers dying at once, in each other's arms. That heartrending "Sam!" when he couldn't save him...that was the sound of Dean dying.

This season is so special and personal to me. The journey of Sam and Dean, the wonderful and painful brotherly moments they had, the fantastic episodes and storyline, how they still were so little, how things were still so simple, how we could still see a light of hope in their eyes. Finishing with the most emotional moment of the show, with Dean saving his little brother again and a final beautiful moment of vulnerability between them. I love season 2 dearly, such a masterpiece and one of the bests of spn. 💗

omggg i love them and i miss this version of these two. the fact that they still were so young and had no idea of the things they were gonna go through soon. the fatal devotion and loyalty and love they had for each other, that goes through so much and is so challenged in the later seasons, it's insane. and i love this edit, its a perfect recap with the perfect song and its so beautifully put together and i will never not love and admire your work 💞
