truly!!! their dialogue is so interesting because while sam tends to be a bit of a straightman at times, theyre just both kinda chaotic so it can lend to more unique comedy moments.

@@drink.juice. That's what I love about them, the one time they do have a difference in opinion it's actually portrayed in a healthy way. They want the other to be happy even if it means compromising or just letting things go because they genuinely care about each other, and that isn't once put into question. Usually that's the lesson the characters learn at the end, but these guys just model it right off the bat.

I think thats what was appealing to this though i am very very very new to watching this show i got into sam and max via the telltale games that were made on them and i just loved the wit and humour and the constant 4th wall breaking but i will say both their voices are marginaly different in the telltale games but sam sounds like penn from penn and teller

In the past stuff made for kids used to be filled with death, violence, sad stuff, sexual stuff, scary stuff, alcohol, swearing and other things people nowadays think is going to give them mental problems for life and most kids that saw that stuff liked it and did not get scared by it and stuff made for adults in the past also used to be way more violent and sexual than they are now and kids watched that adult stuff too so most kids can handle seeing the exact same stuff in the media as adults can perfectly fine. People are way more overprotective over what kids see, hear and do nowadays than they used to be.

@@nineducksinacardigan Kids saw that kind of stuff all the time both in real life and in the media all the time in the past and most of them became perfectly normal people so most of them wont be affected by it no. If kids in the past could see that stuff and did not get harmed by it then why would todays kids get harmed by it? This is what i meant when i said that people are way more overprotective over what kids see, hear and do nowadays than they ued to be. People did not think that the smallest little thing could give kids mental problems for life in the past like people do now. Also they need to see and hear about things like that to learn and develop so if we try to hide it from them i dont think we are helping them develop really.
