It would be great to have the same type of interview with Mitch Hupe with his move from Columbia 300 to 900 Global

Regarding the stoic comment, it's exactly what is appropriate for an adult who is serious and professional about his job. I hope he stays that way, as its refreshing to listen to a man who is not trying to bro out in front of the camera or acting like a jackass or a teenager. He's not a reality tv personality, or a model or a clown or an influencer, or an entertainer or an actor. He's a man who is a pro bowler, and its respectable.

Sam is probably one of the most respectable person on tour.. his mindset is a vibe in itself

Yes, we used an AI feature on our editing software and it didn’t do the best job. Hopefully, they were still helpful to people. Thx for the feedback and for watching!

KZfaq already has this feature. It was distracting to have the subtitles there - recommend removing for future vids.

I throw a lot of brands, hammer, storm, 900 global, rotogrip and own 1 motiv ball. Honestly with how many releases all these companies have it’s so hard to build a arsenal and be prepared for the situation. I feel like motiv is the move. Being a company that release less equipment. Having equipment is only good if you know what each equipment does. I feel like building a arsenal with motiv just makes it easier.

I stick to one company and that is Motiv. I know exactly what I am getting, and I am not one who believes having less balls is a bad thing. I think some of these companies have too many balls. I also see that with bowlers. When you intimately know your equipment, you know exactly how to make it work in all conditions. I try to keep things "stupid simple."

Sam Cooley is not accurate when he says that people aren't supposed to express enjoyment at their office job. In MY office, we are always talking, smiling, laughing, and joking around. Some guys are just wired to be serious all of the time. I imagine Sam is serious all the time. I know guys like this who feel they are better and at a more elevated level of this sport. Then there are folks who enjoy what they do and are at the same level. You need to do what you love and love what you do. I get it, it's a grind, but I think he would win more if he allowed himself to like it more and embrace the entertainment aspect of this sport. At the end of the day, sports IS entertainnent. This interview just solidified my assumption that this dude is serious all the time.

He's actually really cool in real life. I know a ton of pros and he's one of the guys who doesn't think he's god, and isn't a douche with a chip on their shoulder. Solid dude all around.

Having to many options isn’t always a good thing… if u got enough to get the job done u can commit to what u have and just focus on getting the job done instead of thinking something else woulda got the job done!! To learn master each piece of equipment and know what surface changes what ball layouts work best on each piece etc would be more beneficial than having a lot of options u just know the basic about.. too much guessing not enough doin…switching to motive was a good move by sam

I know you've received some feedback on this but please try to use human transcriptions. It seems harmless I'm sure because most people don't need it but people who are deaf/hard of hearing get really punished if they watch these videos. Try to imagine if 15-20% of the time when people were talking if they just cut out entirely, that is effectively what these captions do for those who need it. Even Google's auto-transcript is pretty unreliable.

Not everyone can be or should be like Pete, Simo, or Troup. Frankly I wish I can be more like Sam.

Guys like Pete, Simo and Troup. Their behavior is what draws people to the sport. Unfortunately showing no emotion, being serious, when someone not in the bowling world happens to flip by Fox or FS1 and sees bowling. They watch a shot or 2, something in that has to peak their interest whether its the Fro from Troup, Pete's wild antics or Simo being a hot head. If Pete wasn't the way he was in the 90s, you may not have a PBA tour today because it was on the decline and Pete's action grew the PBA in the 90s. So you have to balance it out because there has to be something people see on TV that draws their attention. If they just see an emotionless zombie throwing a ball, what about that is going intrigue a non bowler to want to keep watching?
