I think he did but his biggest contribution is still defence. Guarding doncic and Kyrie 1 on 1 is difficult but he did it with no complaints

Hauser is deceptively taller than he looks, he's even been piling up the blocks lately. Loved watching his ascension the past few years, the dude is going to get paid when he's a FA. He's like a better version of Duncan Robinson that plays defense admirably.

Hauser went 10 for 13 to score 30 points. Who has done that? Some guy named Steph Curry has had 3 games in his entire career that was more efficient and accurate. I am talking about nights when a guy made at least 10 3's. For example Curry has gone 12 of 15, which is better than Hauser's night. But even Curry has had only 3 nights that were better than Hauser's. Other players? I really didn't find any. Pretty amazing night for just a "3 point shooting bench specialist". Seems to me that in today's NBA, every team that wants to win that chip needs to have at least one guy who can light it up consistently from long range. The Celts have a ton of guys who can shoot from beyond the arc, but Hauser seems to be the best now.

Hopefully he isn't out for long and hopefully this doesn't impact him and his rhythm for the playoffs. We didn't add any offensive muscle at the trade deadline, so he's quite vital to what we want to do this year. Honestly, this is what happens when you record chase. He probably should have been on the bench by then and let these other guys get playing time.

Their bench now has Hauser, big Al, Pitchard, Kornet, and Tillman. That's a lights out long range sniper, a big defensive presence and a big guy who makes 3's, an excellent ball handler who is a strong floor general and can also make 3's, a big guy who defends and has a nose for offensive rebounds and put-backs, and an all around skillful player who is better than most bench players. This is the group that backs up the best starting 5 in the NBA. I really don't see anyone stopping them in the playoffs. Well, except Denver. Denver is 2-0 against the Celts this year and looked like the better team in both games. Not saying we have no chance or anything. We'll see how it goes in the playoffs.
