A UK newspaper has reported that Sam Kerr allegedly called a police officer a "stupid white bastard" during a taxi fare dispute after a night out.

Sportspeople are paid to deliver on the field. Anything else ought to be superfluous, from a club/team point of view. This written, if a player becomes unavailable because they are behind bars they become a drag on the club, as do they if their actions put them offside with teammates. I wonder how the white women she plays with view her, now.

I think there should be degrees with his racist thing, related to context, intention of the speaker, actual real harm done to the victim and not just a symbolic thing not related to the conversation, that factors need to be weighed up. So in the case of Sam Kerr, was the policeman affected and how was this measured? For example, did he have to undergo therapy? Did he cry and weep?

Sam Kerr is aware of her place and how important she is to the team also of privilege that comes with that. Despite being drunk, making a mess in the cab and not paying the fare. Disrespecting the police. That would have landed any of us in the drunk tank at the very least. She will get accolades, suffer no consequence and may even be rewarded. Double standard for sure while we're lead to believe it's black and white it's actually privileged and non privileged!

Here we have a leader, role model and professional soccer player goes for a night out, gets pissed, spews her ring up in a taxi and then verbally abuses an officer of the law in a racist and sexist fashion, casting aspersions on his level of intelligence. She messed up in so many ways here. To defend her on the basis of police racism and homophobia is absurd. Women and non whites are heavily represented in the London police force and they are woke trained to the hilt. Lucy is simply showing her own misandry, here.

There are Australian Aborigines who remain true to their roots regardless of what they look like. Their race is the most unique race in the world.

All Indigenous players whether half caste or otherwise were all acknowledged as such n were proud of their heritage. Daniel Kerr's relatives were out in force plus other Aboriginal groups to support their players. There is always a ceremonial rituals to honour their ancestors before a Grand Final There are many Aboriginal half castes mixed races who are proud to be identified as Aboriginals. Unless you understand their heritage keep your comments to yourself.
