There's an old '91 documentary on the guitar where Sam tells how he got involved with the guitar! It's a great show, with him, Steve Lukather ( Toto ), Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Les Paul, Brian May and more! Enjoy! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sNyHmrZq07iafWw.htmlsi=Gc-qJZDu2NdiTfpD

I'm 56 years old and grew up on Air Force bases and saw dozens of air shows, on the flightline, and I've also been to dozens of hard rock and metal concerts, up close and on the floor in front of the amps, so believe me, I know from deafeningly loud noise. I shit you not, the loudest most piercing and painful noise(in a good way) I've ever heard to this day was seeing Sam at the Paramount Theater in Seattle, Summer of 1987. When he screamed you could feel your bones and brains rattle.
