About Sam Ryder
In 2020, as the world went into lockdown, Sam Ryder uploaded the first of his now infamous covers that quickly caught the attention of some famous fans (think Elton John) with compilations appearing on The Ellen Show & BBC's Newsbeat. As the content kept coming, so did the fans, amassing 10 million on socials by the end of the year. Fast forward to 2021 and Sam was crowned as TikTok's most popular UK artist account for the second year in a row.
In 2021, Sam released his 5-song EP 'The Sun's Gonna Rise' including track 'Whirlwind' that describes Sam’s journey - spending much of his adult life writing and performing in bands, living in Hawaii and owning a vegan coffee shop; before he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a solo artist.
Sam's first show in London sold out in under 10 minutes, nearly as quickly as his first full UK tour. Ready to make his first live foray into Europe and beyond, world domination in 2022 might not be a stretch too far for this incredible talent.

The many years of practice it must have took for him to hit the notes so effortlessly. His singing sound so natural and easy. My hats off to this man his voice cuts right to the core it’s a full body experience for me personally. Something about his voice makes the hairs stand gives me goosebumps. Flawless! 🤙🏽

I was lucky enough to go see Sam in concert in Glasgow the other week and the guy amazes me,not only with that amazing vocal talent but also with how humble he is. He actually took the time to come out and greet everyone in the queue as we waited to get in individually. He is a lovely guy and has a voice that will live long in the memory.
