Those claiming this to be a weak vocal performance are clearly watching something else.. or hearing something that other's aren't.. This performance was note perfect. And to make it scientific I even threw it into autotune... Not a single note of Sam's was corrected as a result - it corrected the audience at the end, but not Sam. So, I'm guessing that those saying it is weak are just vomiting propaganda for Poland because this is a threat to them or those that just simply want the drama of a UK fail again.. Get a grip you cretins, this is the strongest entry from the UK since Jade in 2009 and you're just going to have to find a way to be OK with that.

No word of a lie last night I had the craziest dream ever .... this is how the dream went : i fell asleep during the Eurovision final voting sequence and woke up the next day not knowing who won or who made the top 10 so I googled it and the first country I had to look at was the UK because Im British I looked at the results and placement and it said 9th place overall in the grand final in other words the UK had made the top 10 and I also saw Albania in the top 5 but that’s where my dream ended ...it felt so real I woke up thinking I actually missed the contest and then I remembered we’re still in April 😂😂😂😂😂 but if the UK does actually make the top 10 in May il consider this a premonition 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I was so shooketh when this happened

I don't get these comments all of a sudden that Sam's vocals aren't up to scratch/not as good as the studio version. I've listened to Sam's live performances of Space Man over and over, and his ability to reach that higher register is 100% there. Listening to Sam perform other songs live too, it's clear that this is just how Sam sounds live? So I'm not sure where the complaints are coming from exactly. You're killing it, Sam! The moment at @2:35 is INSANE, and definitely makes up for omitting the iconic "Nothing but, nothing but" section. Hope he keeps that in for the performance in the final.

I hope the UK finally gets out of the swamp. I don't know if this makes it to the top 10, but I believe a solid place is coming up.
