You are a fine anchor, Jugnu. But this interview was incomplete and without proper homework. If this interview was meant to vindicate SKA, then you succeeded but partially. Air Blue has yet to clear the insurance claims of all those who were deceased in an air crash near Islamabad many years back. This company all along had a very poor maintenance record. So much so that punctured tyres of the aircraft used to be taken to ordinary shops outside the airports, and I remember having seen the news about it. The same attitude must have been adopted while addressing the mechanical periodic inspections. Probably that careless attitude caused such a big disaster. Mr SKA earned good money and must have received insurance from some international company too, but his attitude towards the hapless customers was pathetic and irresponsible. Though nothing can be done about the lost lives. However, their families should have been compensated, and you should have questioned him about it. I would not be wrong in concluding that you didn't do justice with your profession and your personal image at this stage of your life.
